This was my first visit. The crab balls were outstanding but pricey. The menu was large. The sweet potato pancakes were good but were undercooked. The French toast topped with fruit and whipped cream was outstanding. The scrambled eggs were ok. The scrapple and bacon were good. The diner is small. The staff was caring, friendly, warm and welcoming.

Very small diner. Be patient, the food is worth the wait. Lynne M was wonderful, professional and personable. Large menu. My regret was not ordering a crab cake. I'll have to come back.

employee fraudulently left a tip on my bill after I had already paid and left the restaurant. I received an email from Capital One saying the noticed a 79% tip added to my order and were checking in to see if that was accurate. I paid online through the company website $12.67 and went to pick it up where I then signed my receipt ( I did not tip for the pickup order ) and I was charged $22.67. I contacted the restaurant and spoke to a very nice employee who said she would have the owner reach out to me. It has been 3 weeks and no one from sip & bite has reached out to rectify this matter so I had to report the tip to Capital One. This is why it’s important to save all receipts!!! Kinda bummed because I love Sip & Bite but I feel uncomfortable to go back knowing someone stole money and the owner did not even acknowledge it. Will not be going back!

An iconic landmark of the neighborhood. Mostly standard diner fare with a few really elevated items like spanakopita, and crab cakes. Efficient no nonsense wait staff. A perfect little diner.
Amazing crab cake sandwich. No fillers, just lump crab meat. The staff was very friendly and engaging. It’s just a small diner with scrumptious food ☝️
