As someone who visits this location at least 2x a month and purchases items, I am deeply felt disrespected by staff who ALL OF SUDDEN had a problem with me a black man sitting in their location on my phone not using their wifi or bathroom. Scene 1: WHITE FEMALE EMPLOYEE : She asked was rather nice came and stated to me that you have to purchase something in order to sit in their store. I informed her that two of my friends just purchased items but I was good.( Needless to say I just had lunch at BAGELRY DELI , which is across the street). SCENE 2:Not more than 3 minutes later a black female employee, whom I will assume was the manager told me I had to leave because I did not purchase anything. I told her my friends but I was good. She went on to say that I had to leave. No problem. I am not here to create a scene for the record There were 4 other people that came in and did not order anything. I beleive that their wss an assumption on the staffs departments about me. To what it was I do not know. BUT I will not support THIS LOCATION AGAIN OR ANY STARBUCKS if this is their policy. The sad part is I am huge supporter of entrepreneurs, independent businesses, and minority managers of businesses. As much as I spend in the John Hopkins area. Really disturbs me especially as a minority media owner. The Soul Media Group
Several times I come here, and my drink is made wrong. It's close to my job, so I visit often. The baristas are very rude and nasty when asked to correct your item.

Two times in a row now I order a cup of OAT MILK and they give me a very small amount of oat milk mixed with coffee. This time I asked them to correct it and they refused saying it is "cold milk" but oat milk is WHITE and this clearly is coffee. the middle age tall woman with glasses who was serving me got mad at me and refused to give me oat milk as I literally watched them pouring WHITE oat milk into someone else's drink. This happened at about 9:30AM July 16th.
I'm pregnant and I'm really bothered that they keep doing this. I will not be returning here and I would recommend going elsewhere, they are mean and can't follow basic instructions.

I like that the Banana Nut Loaf was individually wrapped.
Not great seating situation; Would not recommend doing schoolwork at this SB location (i'd recommend the Rotunda location if staying in-store). One time, i ordered a white chocolate mocha, but was just handed a large cup of syrup-sweetened milk, employee forgot to pour in the espresso shots.

A cozy franchise in the heart of the Charles Village neighborhood that serves well. This particular franchise feels somewhat unique to other locations that I've seen, a little smaller than some but still efficient. The employees are kind and compassionate, and they are quick and serviceable. A good installation to come to.

I love coming to this location to do my homework as a John Hopkins student. Unfortunately, sometimes the environment isn’t the greatest to do work in. One employee is constantly singing super loud like we’re in glee and sometimes they literally forget about your drink. Generally a nice starbucks, but a bit chaotic.
