“This place has been going strong for over 15 years. Hands-down the BEST lamb platter I've ever had. Everyone is very nice. I don't live in Baltimore anymore, but I make a point to visit my friends for some good food every time I come through the city. If you find yourself in Baltimore, do yourself a favor: try this food!“

“Hamza is the man! H&T Halal is the best Halal food truck in the area for sure, maybe the whole city. Hamza is friendly, offers quick service for those in a hurry, and his food is delicious. I can’t help myself, I get the mix over rice every time.“

Frozen Desert Sorbet Ice Cream Shop • $
2132 W North Ave, Baltimore

“(7/12/2016) Great local purveyor of sorbet (the upscale frozen treat version of Baltimore's beloved snoball). There's a local in Lexington Market, but I've mostly seen them at farmers markets and festivals around town. You can cool down and you can be down with the cause while you're at it. Flavors I've seen so far have all been fresh fruit, today got Mango. Sorbet was smooth, fine-grained and creamy (but no cream, no fat, and no HFCS). Mango flavor was fresh and not too sweet, just the right amount of tart. Def skip the snoball (WTH is in that egg custard syrup anyway?!)“

Tacos Jalisco Food truck Street Vendors • $
300 S Broadway, Baltimore

“Found this by googling "taco truck baltimore." Seriously the best tacos I've had outside of Mexico. So good and so cheap. Truck is parked more in 300 block of broadway even though address says 219. Lamb taco - amazing, beef- delicious. Didn't go for pork because the guy said it would be too spicy for me :). They are not the fancy hipster food truck but more the low key, graffitied carnival truck, nevertheless the food is to die for.“
