Fairly new to visiting the restaurant however the four (4) times I have dined or had carryout, the staff was welcoming, pleasant, the food was delicious (sidebar: I recommend the cream of crab soup), and the atmosphere was relaxing. My high school class reunion committee even planned our meeting there and was able to plan professionally without a lot of interruptions and A-1 service. I would recommend and do not have any bad reviews! Continue being a staple in the community.
>>>Tambers is my #1 go to spot when I’m at work helping to save lives across the street at the hospital and I love the way they prepare my bacon cheeseburger and chicken tenders everytime. Also their milkshakes are awesome. I highly recommend💪🏿🔥🙌🏿
I have been coming for years and it is an amazing restaurant. The customer service is impeccable.
Because I live in the area, I have gotten takeout from this spot many many times. The staff on the takeout side are always efficient and kind.
Today was my first time going in-person. The restaurant was clean, the service was good, and the food was amazing. After being there in-person, I can confidently say you will have plenty of sauce and your rice WILL be the perfect texture, whether you're ordering-in or dining in-house. I went with a group for my first time in-person, my favorite thing is that there are options that can accommodate so many different diets. I will say, I primarily order from their Indian menu because I love their wide range of paneer options, but some other members of my party ordered from the American diner menu and were very happy with their food. One tip: if you like your food spicy, ask for spicy. Their standard items are flavorful, but the default is mild spice.

Ordered butter chicken, got tikka masala instead. or maybe their butter chicken just tastes like tikka masala.
The chicken was soft and tender, and the curry was thick and creamy, but the tomatoey flavor overpowered everything else, except maybe some garlic. The entire time I was eating it I couldn't get the image of canned tomato soup out of my head. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if they took Campbell's soup, added cream, garlic, and black pepper and called it curry. that's what it tasted like. To be fair, it didn't taste bad- but it certainly didn't taste like a $20 entrée. It's more like something I'd make for dinner on a day i don't feel like doing actual cooking.
After I finished eating, it took 55 minutes to get my bill. I don't mind waiting but that much was just ridiculous.

Since Tamber’s was a favorite restaurant of my son and daughter-in-law during their years as JHU students, it was a logical choice to have their wedding rehearsal dinner there this past weekend. The event space upstairs was perfect, and the food was stellar…just as expected. My deepest and sincerest thanks go to Maurice Wilson for all his assistance in planning, decorating, and being available the entire evening to make sure everything went smoothly. It was a wonderful way to kick off the wedding weekend!

One-of-its kind Indo-American restaurant with great owners and wonderful staff! I recently hosted my baby shower at Tamber's and cannot say enough good things about this place and people. From Day 1, Harry and Ashu (the owners) were so polite, accommodating, and helpful at each step from planning to execution. I was quite nervous about hosting a baby shower before I zeroed in on this place and met with the owners. Right from the beginning Harry and Ashu assured us the best services at best prices and made it all seamless for us accommodating all our dietary and non-dietary requests. They and their staff did all the heavy lifting from beautiful baby-girl themed decoration, seating arrangements, serving hot delicious food, drinks and music. All we had to do was dress up and enjoy ourselves. The ambience was relaxing and the small kids had a lot of fun due to ample space to run around. In the end, everyone had a great time and made memories for a lifetime. A big shout out to Harry And Ashu and their staff especially Mr. Morrisson!! Highly recommend this place that offers a unique blend of Indo-American food for events. Definitely my go-to place for the next party. Thank you so much for such an amazing experience!! Posting some pictures from the event :)

They are super consistent with their Ceasar salad and it tastes great! Their fried shrimp with two sides was ok but the shrimp could have used a little more seasoning. But they make up for it with their delicious, crispy chicken tenders that are always huge! And the honey mustard that comes with them I could have by itself. I've come to love Tambers in the 2 years I've been visiting it :) also: I'm so so so grateful for their affordable prices

Coming from India to settle my child at Johns Hopkins and flat mate parents invited us for dinner so we decided to try this place Tambers for Indian food. Very authentic flavour and taste. We recommend it to all for yummy food away from home.

Chicken stake sandwich. Chicken was cold, no cooked onions as asked and provolone cheese was unmelted, just laid on bread. Horrible. Never again.

BEST chicken tikka and mango lassi I’ve had in the US! (And I’ve had a lot). Extremely friendly and now it’s my new favorite restaurant in Baltimore.

Come here for Indian cuisine. Curry is authentic and tasty. Don’t come here for crab cakes: too pricey and you can get better value elsewhere in Baltimore.
