Thames Street Oyster House Reviews
Food & service is superb. A great dining experience
Absolutely loved everything from the Variety of Oysters, Lobster Roll, Sardines, Fish…. And I keep seeing on their stories that they are constantly updating their cuisines. I’m definitely making this drive from Northern VA to Bmore again just to eat here. 10/10
We had a great experience at Thames Street Oyster House tonight. We collectively splurged on quite a few dishes (market fish, lobster rolls, crab cake, pretzel crab, fried oyster, raw oyster, and cocktail shrimp), all were nothing less than amazing. But I’d like to give a special thank you and shout out to our waitress, Beth. By far went above and beyond, thank you!

Thames Street Oyster House in Baltimore remains a favorite spot for many, offering incredible seafood like Oysters, Quahogs, and a must-try Lobster Roll. The restaurant is well-known for its fresh and vast variety of oysters, which are expertly shucked. The staff impresses with top-notch service, being friendly and knowledgeable. Freshness is guaranteed, with dishes like calamari and a delicious burger that satisfy even non-seafood lovers. The portions are generous, and the atmosphere is enjoyable. Daily specials and updates to the raw bar keep the menu exciting, while the dessert selection, including bread pudding and coffee cake, is described as 'to die for' and worth the price. The crab cake is absolutely delicious, and the scallop ceviche features a remarkable balance of sweetness and lime. For those seeking peace of mind, most of the food is seed oil free, and the staff takes requests seriously. A go-to place for special occasions or just a memorable dining experience, this restaurant has been a highlight for many visitors over the years, making it a must-visit spot in Baltimore. Note that they close at 2:30 PM and reopen at 5:00 PM.
