Very upscale, not affordable for anyone on a budget but definitely worth it if you're feeling like splurging a little. Or, Restaurant Week is your best bet. The building is fantastic and elegant, the food was phenomenal, and they also filmed House of Cards in this location! Win-win all over!

Beautiful space and wonderful, friendly service. Convenient parking right behind the restaurant for $5 in the evenings. The truffle "mozzarella stick" and scallops appetizers were delicious, as was the sweet potato ravioli. The stuffed pork chop looked incredible but was a little dry. There was a large party while we were there so it was louder than we expected and a bit hard to have a conversation. All of the staff were top notch.

My son and I had a wonderful experience here. I was visiting while he attends school near by. Found the restaurant by accident and felt extremely welcomed by Hope. The Elephant is one of the loveliest venues in Baltimore, if nothing else then surely in Mount Vernon (Baltimore). The venue is beautiful, the staff is wonderful l, and the cocktails and food are great! I really enjoy their Thursday night Jazz on the second floor. The jazz, creates such a wonderful vibe to an already spextacular venue. I don't live far and so I frequent The Elephant often but I have also been there for going away parties and other events. Check it out!
