Bar manager 20yrs opinion: Ok so I’m well aware of the experience and expectations of the orders that are the usual however I threw a curve ball in there and asked for a dirty vodka martini. He mocked me in my age after I said no vermouth and that’s because most people don’t understand the concept of washing the glass with vermouth and it’s not an actual ingredient but he then puts it in a Russian mafia sipping glass and it’s a fair assumption that if your ever having the type of week that you have to order a dirty martini, the last thing you would like it to come in is something that reminds you of the last supper. Not impressed

Pros: lovely decor, well-crafted drinksCons: servers can be condescendingI really enjoyed my experience here! The decor is cozy but classy, and we even had live music! This is a perfect date spot. We got seated immediately on a Saturday night.I’m not a huge drinker, so I ordered pretty basic cocktails. But they were all genuinely delicious and smooth. I got an aperol spritz, daiquiri, and mojito. I do wish the mojito came with fresh mint, but the flavor was still good. The biggest con is the service. Although our server was attentive with filling our water, he was very condescending. I rarely complain about service because I understand that we all have bad days, but I was really shocked this time! For such a nice establishment, I expected better. Our server kept trying to upsell us, and when we explained that we were new to drinking and politely asked for more simple recommendations, he scoffed. Then he sighed when we ordered, as if he was offended that we didn’t choose something fancier. I just wish he’d understand that we all have to start somewhere!Anyway, I will still come back because I enjoy the ambiance and drinks. But I truly hope the managers can work on having a more cohesive and polite service team.

Super grown and sexy atmosphere. Live band that night was great. Service was ok, and we got there too late to order food. There was no dj or Playlist on inbetween the live band set, a little bit of a buzzkill, but the band went back on after about 15 minutes. Overall great spot for vibes and drinks.

1 star for the live band1 star for the vibe.1 star for the cocktails. They told us it was a 30 min wait which is below average for this place. Usually it averages 1 hr to 1:30 hr wait times.Waited 10 mins just to close the check. Ended up waiting an hour anyways. Server was no where to be found. I feel like the long wait times is do to the poor management of the place. A small place like this should accept reservations if they are going to serve food. Had one drink and had to leave. It’s a one time visit for me.

Super unique cocktails & the ambiance is very nice. I had the toast & jam drink and it was the most unique drink I’ve ever had. It truly tasted like that, and it was good!

I went here based on an Instagram recommendation. This place was advertised as a place to try the secret bar. I go there just to find out that you have to be a member to access the secret bar, and membership is 5G a year! Needless to say, my friends and I left.

My favorite bar in the city. I’ve been here two times in the past two weeks. Thinking of coming back again. The matcha and fig is my favorite so far. Looking forward to trying all the thoughtfully crafted drinks on the menu and some

Upscale cocktails in a cozy lounge speakeasy vibe. House Cocktails are $20 each, which is a little steep, and I've definitely had a better cocktail; however, when you consider cocktail prices in the neighborhood, they make sense. You're predominantly paying for unique cocktails in an incredible atmosphere. Great place for a pre-game or night cap round!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting The Elk Room in Baltimore, and I cannot praise the experience enough. The mixologist crafted a drink that was not only delicious but a true work of art.Beyond the fantastic libations, the ambiance at The Elk Room is nothing short of motion picture perfect. The decor, lighting, and overall vibe contributed to an exceptional experience.

Pros: Beautiful relaxing atmosphere with a speakeasy historic vibe. Decent food with moderate prices. Nice choice of handcrafted cocktails. Clean ? They have live music many nights and that music as well as the radio music is at a good volume... not too loud and not so quiet you think you are hearing things!Cons: Service - Host and waitstaff is a hit or miss. I find some staff to be rather short in temper borderline condescending or rude, while others are the opposite. Furthermore, you may wait for 20 minutes to get waited on when the place is mostly empty, or you may get service immediately. In my opinion, for the price you pay here and what it is supposed to be, one should not have to wait more than 5 minutes to be waited on and all staff needs to respect customers. I do not like to use names here and call out waitstaff :) I just hope that management will discuss their manner and work ethic with all staff to ensure that customers are getting the best experience possible.Drinks - The drinks are not always prepared the same; sometimes you get a nice strong well made drink, other times, as other reviewers have said, the drinks are watered down. One drink that I had tasted it was literally almost like water with a dash of orange juice!Long story short with the negatives, there is a lack of consistency with service and drinks :) It should be spot on every time.Parking: Parking is difficult to find in the immediate area unless you keep circling the block. There is a paid parking garage just a 1 minute walk away.

First of all, this is a hidden treasure. Just as in a treasure hunt, you will have to hunt for it. My first picture shows the entrance to assist in your search. Totally worth it. We are visiting and I’m an outdoorsman and therefore was attracted to the name. This speakeasy is really warm, cozy and eclectic. Seating is curious as you have many options for the type of seat. Staff was very knowledgeable and you truly felt served rather than waited. We had the duck confit which was essentially a taco but they used a crepe. Really neat. They also gave us a complimentary truffle fries since there was a slight wait for our food. The cocktails are extremely unique in every way. $20 each regardless of choice. Bourbon selection is astounding. Was able to sample Weller 12. They had all of the big names to choose from as well. If we are staying in the area in the future, we will be back!

Fun place to find that is kind of hidden by an unmarked door. The vibe of the place is great. The drinks were very well done and enjoyable. The food was amazing all around. A little pricey but pretty fair for the quality, though I wish the drinks were a tad cheaper.

This is a phenomenal speakeasy cocktail bar with quiet live jazz on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights. It's not a loud vibe, so it's a great place to have a conversation. The spirit selection and original cocktails are top-notch. It does take a little while to get served, but that's because one guy is doing a Herculean job to make all of these complicated drinks quickly. He's very impressive.
