The Bartender Joe….Hands down one of the best bartenders I’ve had!!!!! We had restrictions with certain liquors and he figured how to make the drinks taste similar. If you go, ask for JOE!!!

We had a really great experience at the horse! Food was good, not fantastic. Onion rings we're on point?

I was on vacation and visited “The Horse You Came in On” and it ended up being one of the highlights of my trip. The atmosphere was incredible, from the moment I walked in, the energy of the crowd and the vibe of the space made it feel special. The staff were friendly and helpful, and grabbing a drink at the bar was quick and easy!! Can’t wait to visit again! The Owner Eric is a great guy as well!!

They say this bar sold Edgar Allen Poe his last drink. Luckily they didn’t sell me mine. The bar seats are saddles and I can’t tell you how much joy that brought me🤠Great vibes and everyone was super friendly 🙏 even the tipsy Ravens & Lions fans🐦‍⬛🦁

Poe's last watering home? Awesome! Live music was great, atmosphere was fun. Service was average. Worth a stop.

It wasn’t so brightly lit on the inside but that is the reason why I love this place. It was my first time visiting and the staff was inviting and courteous. I travel down to Baltimore often and I enjoy exploring and finding hidden gems amongst the commercialized dining scene and this place is one of them. The rugged ambiance and chill laid back old Texas saloon vibes has solidified its place in my top 3 favorite bars. I enjoyed their Honey Old Bay wings, I would have preferred a little bit more old bay seasoning but they were flavorful nonetheless. Their Cowboy Fries went well with my Honey Old Bay wings, and my Angry Orchard sealed the deal. Will definitely be returning on my next trip to Baltimore and I can’t wait.

What a cool place! If you are into drinking while sitting in a little bit of history, then this is the place!! Come walk the cobbles and spend some time in the very saloon Edgar Allen Poe did!

Incredible a 250 year old pub that Edgar Allan Poe would frequent. Good drinks, good food, good music. And its in Fells Point which everyone should visit

Even though I've lived here 10 yrs, I didn't visit this place until yesterday, but as my buddy is visiting from out of state, we came for an afternoon cocktail- old fashioned. The bartender was great, even when a group of like 12 ppl walked in, he kept everyone taken care of. The ambiance and esthetic (saddle seats, even) give this place such a cool vibe, and the history alone is worth a visit.
