We arrived there at about 3 p.m. on a Friday before Father's Day and they were playing a band which is a good thing. But we're only serving drinks And only the left sidebar was open. So the service was poor and were easily ignored. So, we left for Azumi, and we arrived during happy hour which made their finger foods or appetizers at only half price; drinks were also discounted, too. Fantastic finish.
'The Horse' was only good for a photo ops.
Older American bar. High prices for beverages. One nationally available ber and a non alcoholic beer cane to 18 dollars. Atmosphere was fun. Bar stools are saddles. Not cheap
Bald head bartender all he gotta give was a beer
Cool place..
The specials are always on point here!
One of the most fun bars in Baltimore I love this place. It’s always lively. The crowd is always awesome. Great bartenders and great drinks.
It was somewhat obnoxious having music playing from three different sections at the same time. The bar definitely had an old-school feel, and a Guinness cost $9

Coolest spot in Fells Point! I went here for the first time for my birthday and had alot of fun! I went in the very start of the day where it was very low key and it was so enjoyable. Our bartender was awesome and was making and suggesting drinks based on what I was in the mood for. He was personable and friendly. The food was AWESOME! So so good. We got fries, onion rings and husband got a cheesesteak and everything was so good. Loaded Fries were on point though. Highly recommend 👌🏽 I'll def be going back!

Watch your credit card statements. Two Natty Boh and a week later my final credit card charge was $30+ yeah seems off is draft Natty that much in Bmore?
As a huge Poe fan, we named our daughter Annabelle Lee, I had to go to the last place he was seen alive. Its a really cool old place and the service was great. We arrived kind of early so it was fairly quiet at first. Later they opened the dance floor and became more crowded and louder which was great also. I would definitely recommend stopping by if you have the chance.

(It’s not often I give bad reviews). Friend and I stopped in here on a weekday night for a drink- ambience was quite unimpressive, dive bar vibes. Cocktail was OK. Been to some great dive bars but this was not one of them. the bartender was this tall white dude who seemed unhappy and gave terrible service. When we asked to split the check, he gave us an attitude and went “…thought you were friends”. (Has he never seen friends split a check? Maybe we both want our credit card dining rewards points lmao)
After we left, found out this spot blew up on the news a while back for the owner having some iffy associations. Which leads me to believe we were treated badly due to being BIPOC. (Wish I could get my money back). Never coming back here.

Great experience!!! Staff was attentive once we got seated at the main bar, great live music, atmosphere was top notch. We chose this place because of the Poe history to it.
