Our recent dinner at Oceanaire was truly a fantastic experience, and a huge part of that was thanks to the incredible service. From the moment we walked in, we felt well taken care of. The food was absolutely amazing. What made the evening truly special, however, was our waiter, Adam. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and had a great sense of humor. We also had the pleasure of meeting Vic, who was also incredibly warm and welcoming. The entire staff worked seamlessly together to create a lively yet intimate atmosphere. It's rare to find such genuine hospitality. The combination of amazing food and top-notch service makes Oceanaire a great choice. We look forward to returning when we visit the area again. Thank you, Adam and Vic!
I was very impressed with the ambiance and service. The food was good. Some dishes were better than others. I got a steak and it was pretty good but the mashed potatoes, Mac and cheese, and kids meals were not great. My husband got chicken that was just ok. Needed better seasoning and a bigger portion would not have hurt. Might need a new chef. But overall we had a great time!
The restaurant itself is beautiful and perfect for a date. However, the food was just ok - my filet was cooked perfectly but lacked seasoning and the shrimp was salty. We've had much better crab cakes elsewhere for less $. The libations were good even if a bit pricy. I expected more all around. The service was top notch. We had a nice dinner overall.

The service here is absolutely top notch. The staff are genuine and friendly, and they attend to every detail with such care. The food is absolutely lovely, and their baked Alaska is not to be missed!
So, let me preface we sat in the bar area in a booth, and our bartender was absolutely a fantastic human (can't remember his name but he has an owl throat tattoo) and a good bartender. He was definitely working extremely hard to give us good service. Great job, and thank you. The 3 stars though is more so for the speed of service that was out of his control. We went on a monday at around 630-7, and ordered almost immediately. The food moved at a snails pace. They actually almost forgot my calamari until the good bartender noticed and came back with it. After apps, we waited so long that my wife needed to take a reeses cup out of her bag to satiate her hunger (she's pregnant). We nearly asked for the check and left, but the food had just barely arrived nearly an hour after ordering. The food was decent, though the calamari could have been crispier, and some dishes seemed a little under salted. Overall, it's good, and maybe it's worth the shot during restaurant week, but I dont think I'll be back.

Just moved to the area and this was our first time there. Can't tell if the food or service was better as they were both exceptional! Will be back for sure.

After seeing this place on tic tok I decided to book my 7 years anniversary here. From the time I entered the door I was greeted with warming welcomes and great customer service. My waiter Micheal was phenomenal from giving his advice on the entrées and explaining the meun selections in details. let's not forget Bonnie with the anniversary acknowledgement/gift. I give this restaurant and chef a 10/10. Coming all the way from jersey it was well worth it. Now I have a place to come back to that guarantees great customer services and a great meal. Thank you to everyone that made my anniversary feel so special. It was greatly appreciated.

Restaurant Week enticed our party of 5 to come into Oceanair for the first time. We were extremely happy with the quality of the food and the great value for Restaurant Week special menu.
Ordered the 8oz steak. The steak was overcooked. Asked for the Mahi instead. Waiter brought me an undercooked steak. Vic the GM was very nice and credited me for the mishaps.

Hi, we celebrated our 28th wedding anniversary on July 19th (yesterday) we chose Baltimore (Harbor) for the weekend. We went to Oceanaire on our actual Anniversary and they did not disappoint. When I made the reservation for the restaurant, I mentioned it was our 28th wedding anniversary and that’s when the Royal treatment began. When we walked through the door the host and staff were smiling and really nice. They congratulated us on our Anniversary and walked us to the “most sought after table” in the restaurant. (their words not mine)
Taylan our server was nice, she made suggestions when asked and attentive with refilling of our sodas, the epitome professionalism. We had shrimp and grits, lobster and filet mignon, lobster Mac and cheese, Brussel sprouts, the seafood mix(lobster, scallops and shrimp). We took a little bit of Brussel sprouts. The food was Outstanding!!!!! The best shrimp and grits I have ever tasted. Everything was phenomenal (chef’s kiss). I highly recommend coming here for any occasion or no occasion.
Oh and they gave us a card for our Anniversary signed by the staff with a free appetizer card for our next visit. So classy. I can’t say enough about the cozy, romantic atmosphere. The décor gives a sexy ocean feel. Please treat yourself and take pleasure in this great experience.

Overall, our experience was negatively affected by the issues experienced by the restaurant. When we visited the evening of Jul 19th to celebrate our granddaughter's birthday, we were informed that the air conditioning was not working so they tried to accomodate us by seating us near the fans. While a bit noisy, that was helpful. The staff was very apologetic saying the heat trend they were having in Baltimore has put too much stress on their AC unit (although our hotel near the restaurant did not have any issues). As dinner progressed, the lighting went off and came back on. This went on for a while, making it difficult to have a conversation and enjoy our meal. I don't recall any negatives about the food, but unfortunately the evening wasn't ideal given the obvious malfunction issues of the AC & electrical issues. Again the staff did what they could to accommodate us, although our waitress disappeared for about 15 minutes at the end of our meal. Hopefully these issues have been corrected.
Food was amazing. Our waiter was fantastic in the beginning but once it got towards the end of the meal he was not as attentive. The building was having an issue with a broken air conditioner so it was extremely hot in the restaurant. Shortly into the night our party of five looked as though we had just gotten out of a swimming pool because we had sweated so much from no air conditioning. Had I known there was no air conditioning I would have definitely cancelled our reservation considering it was a 90 degree day in Baltimore.
