Don't know if it was an off-night or if this place has really slipped, but we had visited TPR several times prior and this time was a real disappointment. Our waiter was somewhat standoffish -- seemed like he did not want to be there. He screwed up a couple simple drink orders and seemed put out when we asked that they be corrected.Entrees were decent (prime rib and veal chop). Spinach was so so and the twice baked potato didn't resemble a twice baked potato -- simply a baked potato with cheese melted on top.We eat out often and understand restaurant prices are up everywhere, but they seem to have really jumped here. At these prices ($450 for the two of us with no wine), it's reasonable to expect an excellent experience and ours was just 'meh.'Sadly, we don't plan to return.

I celebrated my Birthday dining at The Prime Rib. The food was superb, the ambiance on point. Had the pleasure of having Mr Nathan as the server. He went above and beyond to make the experience pleasurable. One of my favorite Restaurants for sure.

I had a delicious meal. Indulged in the bone in rib eye. They slice it for you. My portion was medium. The other portion was medium rare. Lobster Mac and cheese was tasty and full of Lobster. Drinks were

Jim provided excellent service Restaurant is skimping on the Strip Steak,,, 12 oz at $70 doesn't cut it, I can get 12oz at Outback Most other Steakhouses have at least 14-16-18oz strip They are also missing 22oz Cowboy steak for those who desire bigger cuts. This is an inexcusable oversight by management Prime rib Steak was excellent if not pricey 38oz for $125, but a hefty cut! Classic Prime Rib is the best in Country They need to look at competitors and up the selections. All else is top notch.

Food was amazing, but it should not have taken almost 3 hours to get our food! Our waiter was so sweet and nice. But a reservation around 8:00 pm on a Saturday should not end around midnight.

The service was amazing however my filet was terrible. It was the worst I've ever had. I asked for it medium and it was well done, extremely well done. The appetizer, salad and sides were mediocre but edible. I absolutely would not recommend this restaurant.

I've been dining here since my parents brought me here when I was 8. Last night, we went there for my 65th birthday. We had Greenburg potato skins, salad, crab cake appetizer, prime rib with an order of mashed potatoes and a hot fudge sundae (as well as a small piece of chocolate mousse pie compliments of the restaurant). Every bite of every piece of food was exquisite. The service was impeccable! And the spacing of courses was terrific. I'm so sick of restaurants that bring out your main course before you've finished your appetizer. That would never happen here. While the food is not inexpensive, it's worth every penny you pay. One of the very best restaurants in any city in America! Thank you for making my day special!

Everything was exceptional. Totally old school vibe and definitely an extravagant meal but worth it for the experience. The service was Michelin level and the food was impeccable. The prime rib steak with the fresh shaved horseradish is the thing to have and if they happen to have profiteroles on the menu it's worth starting with desert(they normally only have them for special holidays). The ice cream sundae however ridiculous to order at the end of a indulgent steak dinner is worth every calorie.

The entire experience was world class: our server Jimbo was exactly what you would hope for in a premier quality restaurant, the food and drinks were all top drawer, and everyone from the hat check lady to the piano man made us feel we were in a classic family owned old school steakhouse. Well done!!

It was the holiday so the place was packed but the place is just too tight and crowded. The table isn't but so big but again so crowded. If you don't sit against the walls and are in the center definitely be careful making a sudden move to your left or right smh. Waiter trays be right over your head and you are a slip and trip or bump someone into an accident for sure. The place has very nice lighting and music but due to everyone so close it's rather noisy which kills the romantic vibe a nice bit with your significant other. The service and the food (wasn't really hot) was just ok/meh; ( Didn't enjoy the creamed spinach at all) nothing special. For all the hype & the prices /money spent I definitely expected more. This was a 1 & done for us to say the least.

Sadly have to leave this one star review after being profiled because of my age and appearance. To assume I wouldn’t tip and put an automatic gratuity of 20% to only my table of 2 and none of the others around me. Really sends a clear message. I’ve had the pleasure of dining at some of the finest steakhouses in Maryland. At my local steakhouse I have waiters fight over my table because I tip well. I enjoyed myself and my time at the restaurant but to be blatantly treated different than other tables just because of how I look is disgusting. I’d pick another steakhouse that doesn’t look down their nose at you just for who you are. Next time don’t judge a book by its cover. I’ve got a copy of the receipt if you need me to add the picture. Thanks

Waiter treated us with disdain. Didn't appreciate his attitude was reflected in lack of tip. Apparently "Jimbo" is an ending part of the restaurant. I wasn't impressed. Food was okay, but I don't appreciate servers making jokes about spitting in my food or using slurs as part of their "enduring" nature. Won't be back. Call me old fashioned, a server's breath shouldn't reak of alcohol on the job.The server treated us with disdain. I did not appreciate that his attitude was reflected in the lack of advice. I was very upset and complained to the hostess. Apparently "Jim J." It is a permanent part of the restaurant. I wasn't impressed. The food was okay, but I don't appreciate servers making jokes about spitting in my food or using slurs as part of their "always on" nature. If you want to spend a lot of money to be treated like dirt ask for Jim
