We were in Annapolis for our church youth conference, and we wanted soul food for dinner. So we did a google search and found this spot had great reviews. The Sunday brunch had so many options. For $25 you can get 3 brunch items, and for $45 you can try everything on the brunch menu. I had the fried chicken, fried fish, buttered cabbage, shrimp & grits, french toast, fried apples and mac & cheese. Yes, I tried almost everything. My favorite items were the fried chicken...
I visited during lunch hours. The restaurant is well decorated, with pleasant music, and the seating is comfortable. The service was quick and hospitable. The food came out HOT and was very tasty. I ordered the catfish, green beans, and yams.
I would go back!
My son and I stumbled across this jewel after church today. What a pleasure. We tried their brunch. The shrimp and grits didn’t need Anything extra! Chefs kiss! The owner was a joy and the servers Natalie and Brittany were amazing! Kind, attentive, and pleasant. Can’t wait to come during the week and try a regular menu item. Apparently on Sundays during our dining time, it was only brunch being offered. Overall a wonderful dining experience. Cute and cozy place.
