The menu features a variety of exceptional dishes, including tater tots and caviar, a colossal shrimp cocktail, a perfectly prepared 10oz. Filet, lump meat crab cakes, and cheesy lobster mac and cheese. Desserts like the butter cake are also praised as exceptional. The staff is described as accommodating and friendly, enhancing the overall dining experience. The Ruxton Steakhouse is part of the Atlas Group and is known for its commitment to providing a high-quality dining experience.
The atmosphere is vibrant, and the steak is perfectly cooked, though some customers suggest it could benefit from a little more flame. The shareable sides are a great touch, making it a truly memorable experience. The quiet ambiance creates an intimate setting, perfect for celebrating special occasions. The entire staff is friendly and accommodating, and the food is delicious. Customers particularly enjoy the charboiled oysters and well-made drinks, with a reasonable wait time. The general manager and staff have mastered elegant service, making diners feel attended to without being overbearing. While it may not be the cheapest option, it is worth the price, and there is anticipation for potential future accolades, such as a Michelin star.
