We had a great anniversary dinner, everything from the hostess to server was great and will come again.
My experience was only average compared to my visit in March. The quality of the food and service has noticeably declined. Additionally, upon reviewing my bill, we found a charge of $53 for the macaroni and cheese.
Food and service were great. The only downside is we were with friends and it was very hard to carry a conversation with our group due to the music levels and the acoustics in the space made it hard to hear.
10/10 Dining experience. The staff made sure I had a wonderful birthday dinner and I greatly appreciate it. Great food, greater service.
Great meal and service. Like most Atlas restaurants, not so sure it's worth the price. Menu hasn't changed at all since opening, but overall it was a great experience.
It's the staff that makes the difference. We can go to any restaurant but when you feel truly welcome it's everything. Courtney thank you for taking such great care of us. This was only our sevens time there but when we come back to Baltimore this will be our first stop.
The Ruxton is a very upscale restaurant. The Steak and lobster were excellent. The atmosphere was very professional from the staff, to the guest. It was my first experience, but definitely won't be the last.
✨ Street Chronicles: From the Streets to The Ruxton Boardroom ✨ . On July 21, 2025, I had the honor of taking my mentorship program, Street Chronicles, from the streets to the boardroom—specifically, to the elegant Ruxton Steakhouse. Let me tell you, the young men showed up dressed to impress, and the entire experience was nothing short of phenomenal. 💼 Impeccable Service. Unforgettable Night. From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable. Huge thanks to The Atlas Group for this unforgettable opportunity to introduce fine dining to our young Kings in such a powerful and dignified way. 🍽️ The Food? Simply Amazing. 👏 Special shoutout to our incredible server Dimitri, who came in on his day off just to serve us—talk about dedication! The atmosphere was elevated even more by the outstanding leadership of General Manager Jerome, who ensured every detail was perfect. 💐 Gratitude & Acknowledgment Thank you, Patty, for organizing this outing with heart. Much love to Alex and Eric for always thinking about JOY Baltimore and uplifting the work we do. Your continued support fuels our mission to pour into the next generation. This wasn't just a dinner—it was an experience, a lesson, and a memory. Our young men left inspired, empowered, and full. To top it off, NFL STARS Michael Vick and DeSean Jackson came over, spoke to our young men, and even took pictures with us! 📸 Their presence was the cherry on top of an unforgettable evening and a true inspiration to our future leaders #StreetChronicles #JOYBaltimore #FromTheStreetsToTheBoardroom #RuxtonExperience #MentorshipMatters #BlackExcellence #ThankYouAtlasGroup #FineDiningWithPurpose #MichaelVick #DeseanJackson #NFLInspiration
We've eaten at The Ruxton several times and last night's meal did not disappoint. We started with the beef sliders and the beef tartare. The sliders were wonderfully juicy and flavorful and the beef tartare was FANTASTIC. I enjoy beef tartare and have it often when eating at fine restaurants, but the chef really knocked it out of the park with his recipe! It combined so many flavors and seasonings and it was served on a soft yet crunchy bread. It was wonderful. You know how sometimes you'll have a meal and then all the next day you're still savoring it? That's what I'm feeling about the beef tartare. For our entrees, we had the branzino and the miso sea bass. These were quite flavorful, especially the seasonings and cous cous that came with the branzino. We also tried the side of roasted artichoke hearts. They were a bit woody, so I'm not sure they quite worked, but hats off to the chef for trying something different! For dessert we had the warm butter cake. It's quite large so one was ample for two to share. It was the perfect finish to a delicious meal!
The food was tasty, overall not a bad spot for date night or dinner. I expected more from the online hype.

I celebrated my son's 16th birthday here and we had a wonderful experience. The staff was attentive as well as kind, and the food was delicious. My son really enjoyed the complimentary non alcoholic wine to toast his birthday and my daughter raved about the lamb. The lemon meringue cheesecake was absolutely amazing. I'd come back simply for that.
Used to come here a lot, in my most recent visit I experienced a bug in my steak. Was not reimbursed for anything :/
The food was not worth the price. The service was great. It was nice for a one time experience but I doubt I will ever return.
Great food, great service, amazing ambiance. I don't believe you can miss with any of the items on the Ruxton menu.
Honestly for the price of the food, I was expecting a bit more pizazz. For example at least giving me an overview of the menu since it was my first time there. The sides were not really shareable size portions especially the asparagus. I was disappointed that Brussel sprouts were not on the menu. There were a lot of people on staff that were standing around in groups. On a positive note: the dry aged steak was delicious definitely could taste the difference.
