Great views of Baltimore and great selection of drinks. However it took awhile to actually get the drinks. Our server was very friendly but had to grab her a few times. Pretty sure we ordered the cheese board but got the charcuterie board. Fries were great but took a while to get. Then there was the bartender who was actually the rudest server I have ever encountered. According to him I could not be served anymore. Bet he wishes I was more drunk so I wouldn't remember his rudeness.

I have been to topside before and really loved the ambience of the place. Decided to come back to bring my bf for his bday and I put it was a special occasion; however we canceled the reservation and just went to the bar for a couple drinks and dessert, but they still honored his birthday! They brought out a candle and chocolate that said happy birthday! I was really excited and so was he, I just appreciated that so much for still making his day special!

Food was average. Lamb overcooked, Cioppino had more vegetables than fish or shellfish and cheese plate was scant. Waitress was good. The view is outstanding. Maybe best to go for happy hour not dinner

Reservation for a table for 6. They stuck us almost out in the hallway right near the elevators. They had a party table 20 so they gave all the prime seating to them and we were out in “left field” which also meant service was very slow too. The view is spectacular but the seating almost feel like cafeteria tables unless You were able to get a high top which of course they gave to the party For 20. The strawberry Brie salad was Mediocre at best. The steak and duck entrees were nothing special. At best it just felt like a typical hotel restaurant and nothing special. For the money, would have much rather ventured out

My sister and I had lunch yesterday at Topside. I had been once before and fell head over heels in love with the place. The food, service and ambiance were all amazing. We cannot wait to return! My only regret is that I live an hour away. Otherwise, I would be perched at the window weekly, taking advantage of this amazing gem.

Topside is a beautiful restaurant with great ambiance. The drinks were good, but not strong. The food was delicious, but the cornbread that came with the chicken confite was absolutely inedible. The rib eye was great, the duck was delicious, and the rock fish was good. The service staff was not very attentive and did not have any table side conversations or recommendations.

The Topside had been my favorite place for a few years, but this last time was not good. I used to love feeling so welcome and at home. The staff this last time was very unpleasant, dismissive and demeaning. I was shocked. Was it because I was with two African American young people? I can't imagine this was it, but I was left scratching my head. Maybe the staff was new? In any case, I'm sorry to have lost this favorite of mine.

What can I say? It's exceedingly rare to get that combination of fantastic food, imaginative and great drinks, a top view, and vibes all in one spot. Topside hits every one of those check boxes and does it with fantastic service as well!

Rooftop Atmosphere is hip and trendy and the views were great - we really liked it. Service and drinks were good as well. Food was just ok. $14 bread service tasted day-old and entrees were pretty lackluster. Cioppino was just seafood in some thick tomato sauce. Strawberry shortcake dessert was very tasty though. Would return for drinks and atmosphere alone.

Found this restaurant for brunch online due to its location. Did not disappoint. Menu options were great. Would recommend the smoked salmon avocado toast. Will be back.

I made reservations at Topside and it was awesome. We had an amazing view of the city and the food was fantastic. Our server was awesome and made the experience even better!!!
