Currently writing this review in the restaurant. Everything was great. Even met the owner! As he continues to ensure that his customers are enjoying their night. Came on a Saturday night, music was great, food was fantastic, service was excellent. This will absolutely be our go to spot. We are looking forward to coming for brunch. Nothing but great vibes, people, and service.Dietary restrictions: Had a nut allergy and they were on top of itParking: Parking was fine. Parked right outside the restaurant.

Food and drinks were good, but the atmosphere is far too loud and service was impersonal. This is not the place to sit and converse over a meal. They tack on an arbitrary gratuity fee for parties as small as two without providing a receipt breaking down charges (unless you ask for one). On top of that they ask for an additional tip. Quite seedy.

Music was a bit loud, but great tunes & atmosphere. Great service, oxtail and plantains and rice was awesome. My party of 3 had a wonderful meal & shared chocolate cake, which was rich, not too sweet. A definite must go, if in Baltimore. We were discriminated at our first choice of restaurant because I am white. I am glad that happened because we chose Unity & we loved the food & atmosphere at Unity. Thanks again for wonderful food & service.

My friends and I had a reservation for Sunday March 3,2024 for 230pm. Although, our entire party was there we didn’t get a table until 245. When we did get a table it was dirty despite asking for it to be cleaned. We had to wait another 20 minutes for our waitress to come over, which only happened after I went to the hostess booth to ask for one. She took our orders around 315. We got two bottles of mimosas, an espresso martini and two sangria’s. We were served one bottle of mimosas and then 15 minutes later the other drinks came out. One of the sangria’s had a fly in it and two of the champagne flutes were dirty. I asked 3 times for new glasses before the waitress came back with them. We had 4 orders of chicken and waffles. One strawberry shortcake waffle & 2 eggs and a meat. The plates all came out one by one about 10/15 minutes apart. When the 2 eggs and a meat came out it was cold. One of the chicken and waffles was missing a chicken wing and my friend ordered a chicken and waffles to go ahead of time only to later find out the were out of pancake mix. This wasn’t our first visit but it will certainly be our last. The service was terrible, food was far below average and it was just a overall terrible experience. We aren’t in the business of taking money from a black own business so of course we paid but we were not happy about it.

I recently visited Unity brunch, arriving at 2:30 PM for a reservation. Unfortunately, my experience was marred by poor service from the start. Despite having a reservation, no one came to wait our table until 3:30 PM, after my friend had to approach the front desk for assistance.Upon being seated, we found the table to be dirty, with syrup left on it from the previous guests. We requested for it to be cleaned, which the staff said they would do, but it was never cleaned during our entire stay.To add to the frustration, it took a whopping 40 minutes to receive our mimosas, which arrived in dirty glasses. Our food didn't come until around 4:30-5:00 PM, and to our surprise, the plates were brought out one by one, further delaying our meal and making the dining experience less enjoyable.Overall, the poor service and lack of attention to detail at Unity left a lot to be desired. I would not recommend this restaurant for those looking for a pleasant dining experience!

My experience was terrible. I had to want over 45 minutes for a drink. Then when I went to order my meal they were of the 3 entrees. Which were the steak , lamb chops and ox tails. This was totally disappointing and

I arrived 5pm, 15 mins prior to my reservation time so I wouldn't be late. We sat for 1/2 hour before we could be served because the kitchen was closed until 5:30pm. The wingettes were the size of my pinky. I ordered the Rib Eye Steak well done. The edges of the steak were easy to cut but the middle, no! I needed a saw to cut it. I was struggling with that steak! I asked the waitress to help me cut it. I tried to eat a few pieces but I couldn't chew it. It was so tough. The music was extremely loud. The corner that we were sat in was freezing. The waitress said that the air was on so they would turn on the heat. Nice for people under 50 y/o. Not my speed.

Went with a group of 5 friends on a Friday night and had a great time. The happy hour was amazing - great drink deals. Wings were also delicious. I had the Cajun Alfredo pasta which was delicious. Our waitress was super nice and kindly split the check. The atmosphere was amazing, great music and vibes. It was a little cramped, but I would definitely return.

Server was very polite and accommodating. Food came out quickly and we took leftovers and extra food to go! 1000/10 !! Drinks were nice and strong yet mellow enough to wash down the food! Would come back and dine again. - A fellow New Yorker
