No one is Iranian, and the person who prepares the meal is Spanish. The worst Persian food ever! Awful! Also flies are all over the place. 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

I genuinely loved coming to Villagio on a weekly basis with my husband a couple years ago. However, the cost has skyrocketed and the pricing never makes sense to me. An add-on of rice will cost an extra $8 but they replace the original rice so you’re paying an astronomical amount for less food. The platters never come with salad (another extra cost) or even sauce.
The meat kebabs are fantastic and I love that there are halal establishments like this in Baltimore. It’s just hard to justify the value anymore and we’ve found our experience to be less enjoyable over the years in terms of service / food.

Their kubedeh is bland and did not feel like beef.

I was in here with a few of my friends I was visiting who are local to Baltimore and I have to say I was impressed!
We walked in as a party of 5, the service was great and the food was lovely. Between us, we had the chicken shish, lamb, seafood and filet and everything was great! The appetisers were nothing to write home about but the main courses were fantastic!
I will certainly be back before returning back home!

Food was amazing and it came out quick. However, the service wasn’t the best. No one checked to make sure I was good or if I needed anything… I literally had to try my best to flag someone down.

Their food is not halal. The quality of their food has gone down and the price has gone up.
The food was extremely disappointing. The mushroom soup tasted like it came from a powdered mix—bland and unappetizing. Our server had a noticeably unpleasant attitude, rolling her eyes when I asked just two simple questions. She never checked on us, and we had to call out multiple times just to get water. We weren’t even asked if we wanted drinks.
The table next to us ordered chicken and beef barg, and it looked so unappetizing I actually asked what it was. The woman at the table said it was incredibly salty. She didn’t even eat it—just took one bite and sent it back. What made it worse was that the server still charged her for it.
I usually tip at least 30%, but in this case, I felt good about leaving just 10%.
The food is great, but do not order the sandwich on a date. Portions are so generous that the thin pita bread has no chance of containing it. I had to unload it on the plate to eat it.
“Favorite restaurant” according to all my family members.
Being persian I was so excited to try this place. Overall I am satisfied with the food and the service and atmosphere was nice and cozy. For starters, I wouldn’t consider pita bread and hummus to be authentically persian, so it seems to be catering to a different audience a little. Gheymeh is a personal favorite of mine and there’s was pretty good! although not very much meat in it. Flavor was great though. The mint yogurt was fantastic. The Shirazi salad not so much. Lacked flavor. Koobideh was very flavorful. Rice was great. Icecream was great. Overall 7.8/10. Would come back
