Amazing food. All the kids enjoyed their food. The lobster rolls were my daughter’s favorite. The Maryland crab soup was really good. The ceviche with the fresh cucumbers was the best I have in a very long time. The oysters were fresh. My daughters loved the singer and her music.

Decent crab cakes. The other dishes our group got were good. The decor is a bit sterile. The wine list is pretty laughable for such a nice restaurant. Very slim pickings but good prices at least. I'd totally come back.

Watershed nearly had my friend in tears on his birthday. They served some one in our party chicken that was less than half cooked. They took forever to bring the chicken to the table and when they did it started bleeding immediately he poked it with a knife and fork. The waitress was very nonchalantly apologetic as if bleeding chicken was on the menu. The atmosphere was ruckus, loud and over crowded with people and loud music forcing us scream at the top of our lungs. We originally reserved the roof deck seating but the area got over taken by a crowd of drunken hipsters. I’m never going back and I think that they probably prefer it that way if you catch my drift.✊🏾

Great vibes, good food, great location. Watershed provides a nicer vibe to the federal hill area. Large restaurant with plenty of food and drink options. Great place for a nice sit down meal or place to catch the games. They have a huge bar. Overall good spot.

Parking: Street parking available but can be tough later in the evenings or during event days (football). Parking garage close by

I have been to Watershed a few times on Friday afternoons to hang out with colleagues and friends. Cheerful ambiance, nice service, and cool cocktails.
Haven't tried any entrees yet, but the loaded fries are really good.
And definitely recommend the happy hour which starts at 3 pm.

Watershed is a vibrant, coastal-inspired restaurant perched atop the Cross Street Market in Baltimore's Federal Hill neighborhood, blending a casual yet upscale dining experience with sweeping rooftop views. From the moment you arrive, Watershed feels like an urban escape—inviting guests to relax and savor Maryland’s finest seafood with a fresh, contemporary twist.

The restaurant’s rooftop bar is a standout feature, offering panoramic views of Baltimore’s skyline that are especially stunning at sunset. This scenic backdrop, coupled with comfortable seating and a lively atmosphere, makes it an ideal spot for unwinding with friends or impressing out-of-town guests. The cocktail menu is thoughtfully crafted, featuring creative, seasonally-inspired drinks, while the bar also serves an excellent selection of local craft beers and wines.

The food at Watershed is equally impressive, staying true to its Chesapeake Bay roots. The menu showcases Maryland’s bounty with standout dishes like the crab dip, the fried oysters, and their signature crab cakes—perfectly seasoned and packed with fresh lump crab meat. Other highlights include the peel-and-eat shrimp and the rockfish, each prepared with a balance of flavor and finesse that elevates traditional seafood fare.

Service at Watershed is warm and welcoming, with knowledgeable staff who bring an infectious enthusiasm for the local flavors and the restaurant’s mission. Whether you’re enjoying an afternoon drink on the rooftop or diving into a seafood feast inside, Watershed delivers an experience that feels distinctly Baltimorean yet elevated. It’s a must-visit for locals and visitors alike, combining excellent food, stunning views, and a relaxed vibe that captures the heart of Baltimore’s dining scene.

The portions are WEIRD. Fried shrimp platter is 5 SHRIMPS. The crab cake is tiny compared to the huge French fries mountain on the plate. Not worth what you’re charging.

We went here for a double date for my birthday this past weekend, I didn’t know what to expect. I choose Watershed because it was close to the other plans we had for the night and I was in the mood for seafood. Drinks were awesome the old fashion was perfect best I’d had in a long time.Oyster were really good. I had the crab cake platter and my husband had the Diablo pasta everything was delicious. Portions could have been a little more but they were just enough. There was a guy performing live and he did an amazing job. We will definitely be back
