Im sorry but none of the food was good at all. Not the fried chicken. Not the meatballs. Not the cabbage. Not the collard greens. Nothing was good.

A big benefit to this carryout is that patrons can actually see what's happening in their kitchen.

Unfortunately, most of the food they serve comes out of frozen boxes made by Stoufers or cheaper versions of frozen entrees, which I've seen prepared myself. I don't eat frozen entrees.

I have eaten their ribs and potatoe salad.
The only items they seem to actually make are the ribs,bbq chicken, and potatoe salad. The ribs are hit or miss. Sometimes they taste good, other times not too much. Sometimes they're tough though and you must baked them on low for 30+ minutes.

THE FRYED LAKE TROUT IS THE BOMB and the candy yams and the FRYED chicken and the Lasagna and the spaghetti and meatballs and the list goes on

Good tastefully soul food

This Carry out spot has food almost buffet style. You pick and choose what you want. Basically a protein and two sides. I got the wings, mac & cheese, and sweet potatoes. The wings were cold, but they were seasoned very well. The mac & cheese was a little watery and had no flavor. And the sweet potatoes/candy yams still had the skin on them and wasn’t even Sweet. This location is Carry out only there is no place inside to eat. As soon as you walk in there is the window for you to order and that’s all. Inside does look distressed. Probably could use some remodeling on the inside and out.

Vegetarian options: This establishment does have items that contains no meat for example, mainly the side items. For example, rice, mashed potatoes, green beans, mac & cheese, sweet potatoes, etc..

Parking: There’s plenty of free parking if you park on the street make sure that it’s not where the meter is

Wheelchair accessibility: This location is located on the corner where there is a wheelchair ramp
