Small, cheap, and take-out only. The food is actually quite good, and I still come here even since going vegetarian to get the spring rolls. The staff are reasonably friendly and generally helpful. However, the place itself is not very inviting. It's tucked in the corner of the shopping center and often looks closed even when it's not. I got a very nice lunch today at China Haste with good quantity and quality at a good price. The seafood special had shrimp, lobster, scallops, and (artificial) crab leg. There were a variety of vegetables in the dish, including bok choi, broccoli, mini corn, mushrooms, and carrots. The taste was a bit bland, but I perked it up with selections from the condiment tray. Food was fair. I’ve been to other restaurants where the serving was larger. Also it was hard for me to tell if the place was open our not. Furthermore, I don’t think the lady cashier was helpful in my order. Some restaurants offer fried rice with mixed vegetables plus whatever protein but I don’t think she was willing to offer me the mixed vegetables.
