Mary was our waitress and she was so personable, quick to serve us, always had a smile on her face. She was attentive and went out of her way to please. “The Atlee High school choirs would love to thank you and our delivery driver for coming to our rescue with pizzas. After breaking down on a trip from New York back home to Virginia, we had been sitting there for 4 hrs with 42 teenagers who had not eaten since breakfast. No other place would deliver because they felt it was too dangerous but Zorba’s did!! The driver was amazing and brought us food, napkins and plates. We met our favorite server around then and are so grateful to get to continue going back and getting amazing quality service. Heather is an amazing asset to Pats. No matter day or night when she’s on the floor running the dinning room, our dinning experience is A+. Sad to see she’s no longer on tables on Wednesday’s we were so surprised. But that didn’t stop us, we just come on the weekends. We visit on her shifts only so we know we are guaranteed top notch service. We found this place completely by accident.

We had driven to Perryville to pick up an online Ikea order from the nearby warehouse, and needed somewhere to eat while we were in the area.

I was not expecting anything special.

Then the food came out.

My wife suggested ordering the meatballs as an appetizer, and I am so glad she did.

They were clearly homemade.

Tender. Flavorful. Fall-apart good.

And the sauce was excellent.

Not bland… Not watery.

Not “generic pizza place red sauce.”

It tasted like someone's grandma was cooking in the back and actually cared.

Then came the pizza, which was just as impressive.

The crust was thin, crisp, and beautifully done.

The kind of crust that actually snaps a little when you fold it.

That is my kind of pizza. Just like in New York City.

What made the whole thing even better was how unexpected it was.

We were not on some carefully planned food trip.

We were not going out of our way because someone told us this place was famous.

We just happened to stop in because we were nearby.

And somehow we ended up having one of those meals you keep thinking about long after the fact.

It has been almost a year since we were there, and I still remember how good those meatballs and that pizza were.

That says everything.

Definitely worth stopping in if you are in the area.

Honestly, based on our experience, it is worth the drive.

P.S. I wish I had photos of the amazing food, but before we realized it, we had eaten everything! Time to go back!“

“I ordered for delivery the enormous 28" pizza as a surprise for my husband's 40th birthday party yesterday and asked if they could arrange the pepperonis in a 4 and 0 and they went above and beyond, spelling out "Happy 40." It was a huge hit and tasted really good. We also ordered the crab dip which was exceptional. Highly recommend!! We'll be ordering from here in the future for sure! HUGE thanks to the staff!“

Several of his employees have also been there for as long as we’ve been going.
