El Amate Restaurant Reviews
delicious food and good customer service!!!
Food was authentically amazing and made just like it’s made with love at home. Manuel the owner personally came to ask us about the experience.
Excellent food, especially the tamales and plantanos. The corn tamales (elote) were naturally sweet from the corn and very tasty! Worth the coming back for again and again.

El Amate Restaurant offers an amazing dining experience with fresh, delicious, and generously portioned meals. The casual atmosphere, relaxed vibe, and authentic Latino music create a welcoming environment. The staff is attentive and goes above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction. Whether dining in or taking out, guests can expect high-quality, reasonably priced food that delivers an authentic and memorable culinary journey.
The restaurant is known for its great authentic Salvadorian and Mexican cuisine, providing a little vacation for the senses. The portions are generous, and the prices are reasonable. The owner is described as great, and the entire clientele, except for new customers, is Hispanic, making it feel authentic.
The menu includes options like the Fajita salad and Chicken burrito. Customers have the choice between handmade or street-style tortillas, and the meals come with two sides. Some customers have mentioned that the service is good, and a mariachi band can be enjoyed during the evening.
