Myoung Dong Restaurant

This is one of the most slept on locations for authentic Korean food in the area. If you've been to Korea and miss that homemade taste and atmosphere you've found your place to visit. This is not the place to follow trends, this is old school home style cooking and delicious.

Worst Korean restaurant ever. The name is so misleading as they are not even close to the myoung dong kalgooksoo. Food is awful but even worse is they have dogs that run around entire time in and out of the kitchen and attacking customers. I told them that this is a big health code violation but she didn’t seem to care. Avoid at all cost.

This place is a must! I tried their bibim naengmyeon, and it tasted just like the way my mom makes it. The atmosphere reminds me of home while my mom is cooking. If you want authentic Korean dishes, then this is the place. I will definitely comeback here!

As soon as you enter, you get hit with an awful smell, like damp carpet, which is as dirty as it was when I visited here five years ago. And the dog is still loose and walking around the dining tables. Unsanitary. Surprised food inspectors haven’t shut this place down.

I've been coming to Myoung Dong for over 13 years and they've always had amazing food and service. Their kimchi is my favorite in the area!

Very good place to try authentic Korean food. The lady was nice as she checked up on us time to time. There’s also a dog at the restaurant, which is a first. Overall, very nice environment and the food was great.

Great Korean food in 10mile of college park

My son lives in Beltsville and when we recently visited he suggested Myoung Dong for a casual Friday night dinner because he knows my husband and I like to try new cuisines. My twenty-something son typically orders take-out, but we found the restaurant cozy and welcoming. Everything was tasty and the details were special - I was surprised at how much I enjoyed the pickled radishes served before the dinner. My husband and son both praised the bulgogi and I loved a hot soup with dumplings. We treated ourselves to green tea ice cream for dessert, and the presentation was charming. I would definitely return on future visits to see family in Beltsville.

This place offers authentic Korean cuisine with incredible flavors. The service is friendly and attentive, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!
