Hands down one of the worst dining experiences of my life. I ordered the shrimp teriyaki, which cost $21. When I got my food, it was six pieces of small overcooked shrimp, a handful of bean sprouts, one floret of broccoli, and a tablespoon of rice. It took me less than five minutes to eat my “meal.”I ended up going to another restaurant afterwards to get something substantive to eat because I was nowhere near satiated. Skip this place - it’s a rip-off. Additionally, the restaurant stank. Definitely poor circulation quality in there.

I lived in Japan in the service for three years in my late 20s. This place brings me back. The Sushi is great! The ambiance is unforced and authentic.

Very quiet place with good service. Ordered a japanese style Chirashi and tempura udon. Both were really good! I can tell they care about their customers because they were opened during a snowstorm when everywhere else was closed. Will come back!

An ok experience. Met a friend there for lunch who wanted Japanese food. Everything was mediocre. The food was average. The waitress just went through the motions. And the atmosphere was drab.

Their Bulgogi Box is way overpriced for the little portion they give… very unfortunate small restaurant. Will not be back ever again.

Excellent service Had the shrimp tempura appetizer and unagidon which was delicious! I enjoyed the softshell crab the best. The fried tofu was tasty as well. Will return again.

If I could give this zero stars I would. Went with family last night and waited 1.5 hours for food that did not even taste good. Only after 1.5 hours did they inform a member of our party that they did not have the ingredients for her dish and gave her two small pieces of raw shrimp on a plate. Only one chef and one employee in the entire restaurant. Said they couldn’t make many items on the menu because they were “busy”. One employee got angry at customer requests and was not courteous at all.

S-L-O-W service with a snarl. This cozy little restaurant offered the perfect setting for our extended family get-together and the menu offers a nice variety of Japanese and Korean choices. Unfortunately, the service was unbearably slow and inefficient and our server was in a horrible mood. One member of our party started to ask whether a different roll could be substituted for the California roll that came with the bento box. The waitress cut her off in mid-sentence with a harsh, "No!" We all laughed about it, but when we were waiting forever for food to show up, no one was laughing anymore. When food finally arrived, it was for only a few members of our party of 11. More than half of our party was left waiting for an inordinate amount of time. One of the young people finally gave up. He left, picked up a to-go order from Cava and brought it back with him--half our party was still waiting for their food when he returned! Our angry waitress bluntly informed another member of our party that her order was canceled because the kitchen had run out of an ingredient. No menu was offered, so she requested a shrimp dinner. A while later, a plate was delivered with exactly two pieces of shrimp on it (see photo). Two shrimp hardly constitute a dinner! I had ordered a teriyaki salmon bento box. The salmon was delicious and the box included a nice variety of tempura items but never in my life have I seen such a tiny California roll! Truly, a stingy portion for the price. Adding insult to injury, the avocado was either overripe or not fresh. Greenish-brown mush. Our family enjoyed the cozy atmosphere, but the food and service were definitely a disappointment. We were a large party, but I had made the reservation 3 weeks earlier, so they had plenty of advance notice. If you have a small group, this restaurant might offer a better experience, but if you have a large party, I recommend looking elsewhere.

Not sure if the people with good reviews ate at the same place. Service was slow and chaotic, plates got out randomly to table's. There were maybe three other families in the restaurant and our order took forever. The tables are sticky and the other people sitting there looked like they were ready to run out.

The atmosphere was so nice! A nice little cozy restaurant with such nice staff and amazing food! I went for the first time a couple days ago and it was so good I had to come back the next day! I ordered the lunch box special both times and it was amazing!

I’m not a sushi expert but I have dined at some great places. This is far from an authentic Japanese mom and pop restaurant that offers great taste. First off I ordered 2 orders of the California roll upon pick up I was only given enough ginger and wasabi for 2bites when I asked for more I was given a sigh, the roll fell apart the second I picked it up the rice was not wrapped around neatly. The shumai tasted like it came from the freezer and miso soup was so salty. The shumai left such a nasty taste in my mouth. Will not recommend at all!Parking: Parking is in rear but the sign on the door is so small if you are driving by you cannot tell
