We loved the Kensington location and are glad they opened in Bethesda. I know there are complaints about the noise from folks who live above the courtyard. It can get noisy, but, hey, it's a bar. Also lots of complaints about the kids. There are tons of kids at this place, but it's the same at Ktown. And, frankly, I just ignore the kids. Who cares? For the most part the families keep to themselves, so it's not like they're running around underfoot. The food isn't too exciting....read full review

Excellent local brew pub. The stout is excellent. Could do more savory veggie food.
Could also do with fewer whining residents nearby in the fairly new high rises that weren't around when this area was filled with outdoor restaurants and other venues. They could just join the party!

BabyCat Brewery Bethesda is a clean, stylish, and cozy place. It has a great selection of beers and a kitchen with delicious burgers. The prices are reasonable and the bar is a great place to relax and watch sports games. The bar chairs are comfortable and there's outdoor seating available. The inside has a nice ambiance and a lot of space with a nice open and light feel to it. The brewery has a family-friendly space and friendly staff. They serve tasty pub food, including pretzels, brats, and burgers. It's a great place to host events, like casual baby showers, with party platters and pitchers of beer available.
