Cannot speak more highly about this place. When I came in, I introduced myself to the owners and they treated me like I was an honored guest. I saw them give the same treatment to other patrons.
They were very helpful in getting me to choose from the menu. When they heard I came from out of town, they advised me to try the cro’gel (croissant bagel) that you only get in Maryland and recognizing my interest in different foods, recommended me the kouin amann. They also guides me through my matcha choice and advised on the best temperature for it.
If I lived in the area, I would surely be a regular here!

A failure of communication or bait and switch, either way the service and price point were disappointing for a small latte and what I thought was going to be a croissant as well but that wasn't included in that price of $14. I wasn't going to argue it after the fact, but I won't be going there again and nor would I recommend it to anyone else.

We've been here twice. The first time the service, food and coffee were good. No complaints really as it was new. We just came by again. There were no customers at the registers and no food or drinks were being prepped. So we ordered two drink and two sandwiches. Then people started to come and order after us; about 5-6 customers. They all got their drinks before us; mixture of hot and cold drinks. Our food was ready and was just sitting in the back. Then finally, after everyone received their drinks, our drinks came out. I asked for an extra hot peppermint mocha. It wasn't extra hot and the peppermint was so overpowering that it tasted like toothpaste. It was a lukewarm toothpaste drink. I asked for no tomatoes on my sandwich; ended up with tomatoes. What made this worst was this total came up to over $50. If were paying over $50 for drinks and food, it's expected that they deliver and unfortunately they didn't. We really like supporting small businesses and give grace but when it's shown to your face that they do not value customers or any cadence to follow to provide exceptional customer service, it puts a damper on the support. We will not be coming back.

The croissant and bagel sandwiches were yummy! I ate the smoked salmon croissant sandwich and it was really flavorful. I also got an iced vanilla latte and it was really delicious.

I discovered this place a few months ago and it became an immediate favorite. It’s a refreshing change from chain coffee shops. The service is friendly and personal and aims to please, and the coffee and drinks I’ve had were great. I haven’t had trouble getting a table and it was a nice quiet atmosphere in which to sit and drink/eat and chat with a friend. Highly recommend!

French Press offers a fantastic atmosphere and delicious coffee (cortado, americano, latte were all great!). Their food, like the cortado avocado and eggs or cream cheese with your coffee, is equally tasty. Audiophiles should definitely check out their McIntosh audio setup!
