Uber Eats does NOT know how to estimate pickup orders here on weekends. I ordered 4 items and the app said the ready window was 8:22–8:33pm. Kitchen is understaffed, and waitstaff stands around gossiping. The order was finally ready at 9:04pm.
Be prepared to wait 40+ minutes BEYOND what the app tells you! I was double-parked for so long that Bethesda Police actually flagged me down to scold me for blocking the road but I talked myself out of getting a ticket.

The happy hour menu was so fabulous! The fatty salmon and the stuffed inari were delicious. I can’t wait to return!

Kusshi in Bethesda’s Woodmont Triangle offers a modern atmosphere that does not feel too loud or crowded, making it a nice spot for dinner. The sushi tastes fresh and presentation is really well done, showing attention to quality. The crispy rice and specialty rolls are favorites, and everything from rolls to appetizers and drinks comes out pretty quickly. The service is great, with friendly staff who check in often without hovering. The bar tender Charlotte is absolutely amazing, making everyone feel welcome with 100000/10 service. The food is so good, with reliable and delicious seafood including classic and creative options that are fresh no matter what is picked. The happy hour is excellent, offering great food and service—seared fatty salmon, calamari, Takoyaki, and chicken karaage are all great. Prices are on the higher side, but expected for the quality level. Overall, a solid place for date night or dinner with friends.
