I just heard the sad news that Fu Shing is CLOSING permanently on July 1. I will be sorry to see them go. Fu Shing has been a lunchtime institution in this part of Bethesda (Montgomery Mall) for decades. I have visited with many colleagues and every one of them has been pleasantly surprised with the flavors, convenience, speed, and price. Saddened by the news that they are closing on July 1. My family and I have been frequenting this place for countless years - starting from when I was in 3rd grade, up until now with me finishing up college. We first visited their Gaithersburg location, then, after this location closed, to the Bethesda location. Fu Shing Cafe is a fantastic option to go for lunch! For around $8, you can choose from a variety of dishes that come with steamed rice or fried rice. They also include a spring roll that probably is surprisingly good. All of their chicken is white meat, and you can tell how high quality their meat is as soon as you take the first bite.
