First time at the Bethesda Row location and it was a huge disappointment. Service was fast and the cashier was nice and friendly. When I got home a few of my cupcakes were turned over. They couldn’t have been placed in the box correctly. The taste was horrible. These cupcakes were not fresh at all. I usually only frequent the Georgetown location and have never had this issue before. Sorry I will never return the Bethesda location. Not a good look Georgetown Cupcake!

Disaponted in quality. Bought 18 cupcakes today which where extremely dry and tasted as they were either left over or refrigerated from day prior. I have always liked georgetown cupcakes dc, this was not a good experience.

The cupcakes are delicious, and while they lack puppy cupcakes, this isn’t why I’m giving it a lesser score.
The last two times we’ve gone, we’ve gotten the wrong cupcakes. The latest was our ordering a Chocolate Cubed among others, and getting a Key Lime Pie cupcake instead. The time before that, even after asking “what was the pink cupcake,” and him answering, he still gave us the wrong one. -_-
The cupcakes come in a nice pink box with decorative tape, so while we thought about opening the box to make sure we got the right ones, we opted not to as it was unlikely they’d get an order wrong consecutively. Fool me twice…
Both times the order was taken by a kid who, and I don’t blame him, felt like he did not want to be there on a Saturday night. The time before that the kid who got our order wrong had a similar look, but we can’t say they were the same employee.
Either way, our bad for not checking the contents of the box, but would be cool to get the order right.

As it turns out, my lost order that they promised to ship for my daughter's 30th birthday. Never shipped. They lied to me. The order was placed Dec 5th wanting Dec 19th delivery. Never shipped as promised, then CS told me would be shipped they actually cancelled the order.

Placed a $200 order for 3 dozen Cupcakes (incl $50 for shipping). Delivery day came and went. Nobody answers at the customer service number. Emails to customer service have automated replies. I was shocked to read EVERYONE is leaving this exact same review! Shame on me for not reading all of the reviews before placing my order. This is not the same Georgetown Cupcake I remember on M street. What a disappointment
Ordered delivery on 12/09 with a confirmed delivery date of 12/18. I got an email on 12/19 from them telling me my order was cancelled and there would not be a delivery. A DAY AFTER it was supposed to be delivered. They had over a week where they could have informed me, or better yet, not taken the order in the first place, so I could have searched other options. And it was a gift for a family member.

I gave orders that I placed 12.3/24 that were supposed to deliver yesterday. It didn’t even appear that they have even shipped. I’ve tried calling the shipping phone number, but it will ring and ring then someone just hangs up phone. I’ve tried six times today.

I’ve been to this location twice now - both times staff were very sweet and I was in & out with my half dozen. Personally, I prefer a moist cupcake and these are pretty dry. The decorations also appear to be a bit rushed and are crooked, but if you don’t mind either of those things this place does its job in offering the designer cupcake.
