We have been to Gaupos many times over the years, they have only improved. This is classic Mexican Fare, with fantastic chips, dips and excellent hanger steak for facitas and tacos... Their Cerviche was good (we only did the octopus ... they had 5 others. When going mexican in the Bethesda/Silver Spring region, Gaupos is fine with us :)

Awesome as always. Margs and fajitas are delicious. The steak in my Guapo's Superior was cooked perfectly medium rare as requested. Hector and the team delivered Feliz Cumpleanos to our friend with enthusiasm! Great time!

I didn’t eat in the restaurant — I ordered through DoorDash after a long day at a conference. I wasn’t familiar with the area and just wanted something good without going back out. I went with Mexican, and this spot was the fastest nearby, so I gave it a try.
I got the Tostada Laredo (Taco Salad) with steak and house-made guacamole, and it was so good! The steak was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. I barely used the dressing because the salsa and guac added plenty of flavor on their own.
What really impressed me was how well everything was packaged — the wet items were kept separate so the shell stayed nice and crisp. Overall, a great find for a quick, tasty late-night meal. I’d definitely order again!

I ordered mushroom quesadilla from Casa Oaxaca yesterday. Ehh. And today I ordered the same order from Guapos. I am shocked at the big difference as far as flavor and freshness goes. Guapos is the best no comparison! Also, this was my first time and I was really pleased with how the beautiful Rebecca treated me. She made me feel like family and that is the key to quality customer service. Thank You Rebecca!

The food was okay I tasted a little like reheats. Both platters came out kind of cold. The staff is extremely friendly and it was a pretty good atmosphere.
Our waitress had a large group of 11 and she knocked it out of the ballpark it was quick. It was efficient and the food was great.

Excellent food, even better service. The staff here is so warm and friendly. We were made to feel right at home the moment we walked through the door, even with a 15 month old baby. So many restaurants visibly detest small children. Guapos welcomed us with open arms. The huevos rancheros were delicious! Shoutout to our lovely server Iris. Highly recommend to any folks looking for a vibrant, welcoming and delicious experience.

I was excited to try this restaurant since it’s always crowded. It was disappointing, I ordered a combo of tacos and enchiladas. The enchiladas were too salty!! I had to throw it out. Taco was okay. I won’t be wasting my money there anymore.
