You might think the Hampden Cafe is a boring option on a day when you need lunch in Bethesda. But, it is much more then just a lunch sandwich place. The staff are truly the friendliest people. My son and I go from time to time and are always greeted enthusiastically. They have their own house specials, each one I have had is tremendous. The sandwiches are always good as well. They are made to order and the line moves fast.
This place rocks. Home cooked meals, great breakfast, delicious sandwiches and great rotating menu of Korean and American dishes. This is a no-frills deli with owners who are committed to putting out quality products. I especially appreciate that you can get fresh fruits and veggies here as a snack, and that you can do soup/salad too. Wonderful little shop!!!

This is the most amazing cafe in all of Bethesda. I decided to move to the area after I fell in love with the Turkey Avo Supreme. You will never find a deli that roasts their own meats. Plus the Korean food is so delicious. I really love Mimi and John so much. They will be missed.
