This is one of our regular Chinese take out/ dine-ins. I would have to say probably our favorite. The staff are friendly (they know me by name). The owner frequently comes out at interacts with the customers. The Tiki bar is cute/fun and their food is great. We personally love the Tangy Shrimp Dumplings. Their Gen.Tso's Beef is really good.

This is my favorite restaurant of all time. I would recommend having a party here any day of the week tonight I hosted a party with 30 people to celebrate a 60th birthday prior to the party. We met with Lynn, the Manager, who was wonderful to work with. We set a great menu with lots of options from vegetarian to seafood to duck and more. We had three tables of 10 and one was a vegetarian table, I have to say the selections for vegetarians are amazing. We ordered three ducks, three Bronzino, fish, three crispy beef, sesame chicken, three bok choy, three basil, shrimp, three Chinese, broccoli soup, egg rolls, and more. Everything was so flavorful and tasty . It truly is an experience to watch them slice the duck at the table and debone the fish. I want to speak how customer service oriented the staff were once we started to get our appetizers everything just flowed. They were attentive to everything from the drinks to the meal and more. The Mai tais were a perfectly made and fun drink to enjoy. It was just a magical evening. Everyone kept talking about how wonderful the food tasted. I truly think this is the best restaurant in the DC, Maryland, Virginia area . I highly recommend dining here . Thank you House of Foong Lin

Tiki Thirstday held on Thursday nights is the only time I've been. The food is good, the wait staff remembers regulars, and the atmosphere is awesome.

We have eaten here numerous times now. The restaurant has a large regular customer base, some say all to decades ago before they moved to this location. You will understand when you et here... The chef is really great, my most recent dish was carryout Five Flavor Shrimp, The sauce was in a separate container, and consequently when I ate about 40 minutes later, everything was perfect! The Won Ton Sup may be the best in the area, let me know! Beijing Pork is fantastic... wait, what am I saying? EVERYTHING is FANTASTIC! Just go already: This is restaurant serves excellent food, they make some great Mai Tais, and the staff are friendly and professional. Disclosure: The first time I went, I fell in love with the Won Ton Soup. Thus, I sadly have not ordered many other appetizers. However, people seem to love all the appetizers! I made it my mission to slowly work through the menu, but again alas since I often reorder the exact same dish 2 times in a row since I always love what I get! I do really like the Beijing Pork, Szechuan Crispy Beef, and fish. For something like Salt and Pepper Jumbo Shrimp to taste that good, well I am are just going to have to keep coming back to get a "complete picture". This will take some time. Enjoy your meal(s)!

We thought we would try a different Chinese delivery option tonight and chose House of Foong Lin. It was...okay. Food was really underseasoned. The pad Thai was particularly bad. (Okay, I wasn't expecting great pad Thai, but this was not even in the same zipcode as just "good.") The lo mein noodle texture was nice, but, again, no real flavor. The food arrived fairly hot, but everything was just bland and, frankly, greasy. We thought we could do better than Golden House, our old standby, but this was not it.

After patronizing this restaurant for over 10 years. I decided today to place a pick up order, after a 2 year break. For about 6 people, I ordered my regular general tso, orange chicken, fried rice, broccoli with brown sauce and spring rolls. The entire order was disgusting. Not worth the $94.13 plus tip. Totally different from past years. The chicken was extremely tough, tasted like rubber-mechanical chicken. Whatever it was, it was not for human consumption. The broccoli and brown sauce was tasteless and overcooked. The fried rice was mushy and also bland. Needless to say, we trashed the entire order. I rarely post comments, however my disappointment needed to be expressed. We will NEVER eat here again.
