Delicious food. Found it right next to the hotel. I ordered the non-veg Thali. It has samosa, lamb Rogan josh, chicken Tikka masala, saag paneer, dal makhani, chef's curry, rice, naan, and dessert! It was all so good. The chicken Tikka masala was a bit sweeter than I'm used to but was still so delicious! Will definitely come back again!!

This restaurant is now called “Maya Cuisine Restaurant & Bar”. The food was excellent, the service was excellent - everything was perfect! My husband and I each had one of the house specialty Momo dishes and we were not disappointed. The flavor combinations were delightful. Will definitely be back if we are ever in the Bethesda area again.
Went for my son and my joint birthday dinner. The server/restaurant manager was very accommodating and entertained my children so they were never idle. The food was equally enjoyable. Would definitely return.
I visit a restaurant by myself before inviting a guest. Unfortunately, this is not one to which I will invite anyone. Even though I told the host/server that I had a reservation, he did not even look at it to check my preferences, a window table, nor did he check me in. The decor lacks a recognizable style, the service alternates between intrusive and negligent, the ingredients in the food are not balanced---one ingredient in each dish overwhelmed the other ingredients. There are only five wines by the glass, all from the same winery--Bonterra.
told we had theater tkts, ordered upon arrival, yet it took almost 40 minutes to be served after multiple inquires "when was the food coming".we have been to this resturant many times in the past, the food is very good;but we shall not return.
We chose this restaurant because of the vegan choices on the menu, and the food turned out to quite good, although the portions were rather small. Maybe we have been spoiled by the generous portions at Spice Xing, but the portions seemed kind of small. The main impression we left with, however, was the poor service. Our waiter spilled lots of water, spilled soup, forgot to bring the iced tea my wife ordered, and forgot to bring the bread basket our guests ordered. And whenever anyone from the kitchen came out, they could not seem to understand what dishes they had on their trays, so when we said Such and Such goes here, they would motion for the waiter to come over. And when the waiter did come over, he forgot who had ordered what.

I am planning a trip to Nepal and wanted to sample Nepalese food. It was good! While the menu is mostly Indian, the Nepalese offerings were delicious. I love the presentation in the small copper bowls. The staff was very nice and called me immediately when I left my credit card there by mistake. Another benefit of making Open Table reservations (so they had my phone number)!
Out for a birthday dinner with family. Dining room was easily accessible for grandma and her walker. Food selections were varied, and everything we tried was wonderful. Wine choices were good. The wait staff was very attentive and friendly, without being overbearing. The only thing I did not like was the bread with dips provided. Both were too spicy and peppery to eat.
I ordered a chicken curry that came with rice. I found chunks of either soggy or partly burnt rice in the rice bowl. I told them and they gave me a fresh bowl. That was OK (no chunks) but not great. The chicken curry was fine.
This was the first time I had been to the restaurant for dinner. The lunch buffet is always great. Dinner was just as good. The restaurant was a little empty, but it was a Monday night when I went. Overall, great Indian food!
Ate at Shangri-La with some work colleagues and as usual, the food did not disappoint. We had a variety of starters and mains, and the wonderful serving staff asked the chef to prepare an off-menu vegetarian dish which was fabulous. Meat dishes were cooked great and the bread basket was delicious and buttery. Good wine list, friendly and attentive service, and the staff even sat patiently while our leisurely table closes the place down. Well always return here and highly recommend for great Indian food.
