I have consistently visited this location. Very much a Jeni‘s fan. I have bought the pints in grocery stores before I lived near a Jeni’s and anytime I’m traveling, I usually stop by one, if it’s nearby. This location is no exception. It is consistent with all of the other ones I have been to and it is great. The service is typically always friendly. I will say I recently visited for the “opaque” ice cream that they were selling in pints, and I did pick up a pint and it was really good. It was a very interesting, dark, almost powdery cocoa with the tiniest hint of cherry balsamic. It was not a prominent cherry balsamic, but the rest of the flavor was good. I didn’t necessarily like how I was given a cone that I paid for, but it was soggy or stale. It was not crisp. But aside from that, every time I’ve gone and the most recent time I’ve gone — it’s been great. There’s some chairs outside so if it’s a nice day, it’s great to chill out with your ice cream. There’s a small bench inside. It’s about $7.65 for 2/2 scoops of ice cream in a cup which is honestly on par for Bethesda. Recently, I had the popcorn brittle and the double dough, which is their cookie dough and they were both pleasant. It was an interesting combination, but i’m happy that I tried the popcorn brittle because it’s the end of summer. Why not?
TLDR; Would highly recommend this shop if you’re looking for a good ice cream option and P.S. - they are open until midnight.

I’ve always loved Jenis ice cream, but this was my first time at one of their physical locations. It was pretty nice. I got the popcorn brittle, root beer float, and strawberry pretzel flavors in to-go pints . I got the honey vanilla to eat there. They were all amazing. My favorites from the brand as a whole are gooey butter cake, jelly donut , and cinnamon roll. The gooey butter specifically is genuinely the best ice cream I’ve ever had. With this brand, I recommend going for more interesting or creative flavors instead of more basic ones

Jeni’s Ice Cream always delivers great quality, but I was a little disappointed with the flavor selection during my recent visit. I’ve always loved their unique options, but this time the choices felt a bit limited—and sadly, my favorite flavor, Brambleberry Crisp, is no longer available, which was a letdown.
That said, the service was excellent! The staff was friendly, patient, and helpful as we made our choices. The shop had a clean and cheerful atmosphere, which made for a pleasant visit overall.
I still recommend Jeni’s for its creamy texture and creative flavors—but I do hope they rotate back some of the classics (especially Brambleberry Crisp!).

Wish they had their dairy free chocolate truffle by the scoop. It's amazing. Right now they only have dairy free limon curd with pound cake, so it has gluten. Friendly staff.
