Came here for breakfast. It was very easy to socially distance dine here. The food was superb and well portioned. I got the French toast and orange juice and it was so delicious and a great start to a morning.
I’m in love. Everything on the menu is to die for. The bakery is just amazing. And so is the regular food from there. My favorites from La Madeleine are the tomato basil soup, the pesto pasta, the lemon tart, and the iconic sacher torte.
french bistro with classics that work in the united states..in downtown bethesda and super fun for family or close people..its fast and a nice experience for chicken and brunch ---lunch time and simple classy french--dont lie and say u didnt know of this french bistro
Putting bread in to a cuisinart does Not make French Toast ! and the roach walking on the wall did Not add to the eateries charm. That said, the pastries to-go were good
Love their quiche aux épinard ! They now have a limited menu and seating outside but the food is fresh and delicious!
Always like the tomato soup. Bakery is fresh.
Amazing food but the prices were steep for the long wait. And dont order breakfast here it's not fresh it will be cold as a rock. Also no gluten free options.
I meet with friends this lovely place many times a year! This is the best place to dine. I go to this spot many times. The food is very tasty, the staff members are courteous and the prices are good. I like going in this place to have a rich lunch.
Amazing Quiches and Tomato soups. Quaint little country cafe!
My croissant was good. I did not have meat on it. Just egg and cheese

I gotta be honest. I really like their Chicken Parisian sandwich; it tastes amazing. However, their side choices are very limited and not tasty. The choices for the sides are mostly chips, salads and tomato basil pesto pasta..? Once, I chose their tomato basil pesto pasta and I disliked it. It had a weird taste that I couldn’t describe. I also didn’t like that it was too cold, which made it taste 10 times worse. For the future, please include fruits as a healthy side alternative. ??
Grabbed a bacon egg and cheese croissant it was absolutely delicious! I also picked up some other baked goods to have at the hotel for some quick breakfast.
I love the lunch selection. The seasonal turkey, cranberry, stuffing sandwich might be the best sandwich I have ever had in my life. The ordering system is a bit unusual so I would recommend ordering online and picking up.
I dig this place. Food is very good, but I have been let-down a couple times on their meals. I generally recommend sticking with the bakery side of their offerings.
Lovely place, I loved the atmosphere and the staff are friendly. The taste of the pastry is amazing! I also loved the coffee. I recommend trying the croissant.
