Baffled that anyone could write a bad review about this place! The entire staff is friendly, the restaurant is clean, and the prices are totally reasonable. I placed a carry out order 3 days ago, and I just placed another order today. I absolutely love the crunchy spicy tuna and crunchy california roll. I've also ordered the shrimp shu mai and pork dumplings, all fantastic. I live across the street and will absolutely be coming back regularly.

Ordered 2 special sushi- love at first sight and volcano as well as a spicy tuna sushi. Everything was disappointing and stale. The crunchy rice flakes were not crunchy and tasted stale and the sushi was chewy and terrible. Will not be dining here again.

Food is decent for the price, especially their lunch specials (nearly half price). There are fancier options even in Bethesda if that is what you want, yet I come here about once a week.
A true gem if your expectations match their hole-in-the-wall vibe, with American-style (sweet) but good-tasting sushi, soft jazz music playing in the background. This is fully comparable with other similar options in Rockville (noticeably better imho in some ways - faster service, fewer menu choices).
Most customers seem to order either delivery or pickup, so seating never seems an issue (since the pandemic, even at lunchtime, while the nearby NIH still hasn't demanded full return to the workplace). Servers vary depending on who is there but food is always consistently high quality, at least over the last year.
I will definitely return, again and again and again.:-)

I love this place and dine here often. Sometimes, I even do food delivery for a few extra bucks. Today, when I came to pick up an order, an Asian girl named Vanessa was extremely rude. I informed her that I was here for an order, but she rudely asked me to leave and come back in 20 minutes. Even though my app confirmed the order, she was arrogant. However, another staff member kindly apologized and offered to make the food in 5 minutes. Yesterday, I had a friendly conversation with other associates, but Vanessa's attitude was appalling. I'm concerned this behavior could harm your business and reputation. I suggest having a chat with her to improve her customer service skills before it affects your brand negatively.
Everything was overcooked and inedible. Salmon was tough to chew, chicken couldn’t even break apart, and the sesame beef was like jerky.

Absolutely loved it! The rolls are delicious and perfectly done. I got California Roll, Spicy Shrimp Roll and Eel Avocado Roll; the atmosphere is so calm and clean. I was hesitant to try but it’s a most, I may have found my new fav sushi place.

Delicious sushi and rolls! I got red snapper, salmon, a spicy white tuna roll, and yellow tail, and the pieces were all thick with great texture. They made a mistake on my order but fixed it immediately and even gave me free miso soup.
