The food in general was excellant and a great value. One knit was the fries were not crispy enough which was why I only gave them a three on food

There is a pay public parking garage in the same block. Enter from the street behind the restaurant. Very convenient. This was our second time there. We enjoy it.

The dinner was lovely. Service was amazing. The food is a little boring but delicious. The restaurant is a little noisy

Both the food and our service were great at Medium Rare. But the noise level was figuratively off the scale. I know it was a Friday evening, but our overall experience was clearly affected by the noise. We literally could not talk to each other across a two person table. Some of the noise was probably because tables were pushed close together, but some was probably caused by the design of the dining area. Bottom line....we would go back. But not for dinner on a Friday evening!

Had a very good dinner at Medium Rare last night. Service was above and beyond. Food was good as usual. I do wonder if portions have been cut a little. But, it was well prepared and a great dining experience.

You get two steaks but they're really small and it doesn't really matter what temperature you tell them you want the steaks at because they're so thin that you're going to get your steak medium to medium well at best. The bread is harder than croutons, but at least it's a nice ambience.

As usual the food was great. Also I had asked for a quiet table and got one. We will be back.

We had an excellent experience at Medium Rare. The staff was extremely attentive, the food was delicious. It was fresh, hot and generous portions- both times! The servers were particularly were extremely aware of dietary restrictions and even comped us two glasses of champagne as we were celebrating an anniversary. Because of how thoughtful and professional everyone at Medium Rare is, it is a favorite place for celebrations - or just because we want to.

We waited over an hour when we had a reservation with our entire family, including grandparents. We made a second reservation that was also not honored. We left after waiting 1.5 hours and ordered Chinese. The hostess was completely rude and should be fired on the spot. Never, never again. And we live Medium Rare Cleveland Park. But NEVER again. We will tell all our clients and colleagues at Sotheby’s and Nixon Peabody the same.

Always a great time at medium rare. Celebrated my son's birthday and they did everything well.

We really enjoyed ourselves! Great steak and magical secret sauce. Didn't know what to expect with nothing to order except for how you like your steak... it was delicious.

Busy night but we had a reservation and they were able to seat us in 5 min! Fast service and good food.

Very noisy environment due to clientele voice levels and staff shuffling around constantly.

It is SO, SO good at Medium Rare. It has a simple menu of bread, salad, steak frites with an amazing sauce. For many, it is perfect. (Note that there is a vegan option of a portobello mushroom with red pepper sauce.) The service is terrific. Shout out to our server Tabitha who took good care of us. There are five different dessert options which are large and delicious. I would caution that you know that the restaurant in Bethesda is really loud (but great if you love the loud 80s and 90s bands) and very tight/crowded. Make sure you get an Open Table reservation because on a Saturday night, the walk-ins could only sit outside under the heat lamps or vie for one of the four seats at the bar.

The server Ever and Chris made our night so special. A good friend turned 21 tonight and they gave us a wonderful experience with great food and service. They even helped us blow up the birthday balloons to rush for our birthday friend’s arrival. 10/10 service, food, and experience!!
