I came in initially thinking of getting just a drink. I'm a sip club member and needed a refreshment. The "KoolAid" tea causing heart attacks is delightful and gave me a much needed pick-me-up. I thought maybe I had other rewards coming due and the cashier told me I did and gave me his recommendations. I do not remember his name, but WAS able to give the extra bagel I ordered to a homeless man down the street. And $5. I wouldn't have ordered it had it not been for an expiring reward. So really a pass it on moment. #TrickleDownEconomics

The people here are so welcoming and pleasant, in particular Moriah, who took out breakfast order. She so wanted to help us get exactly what we wanted and helped us with a smile. After placing our large order, the food prep people put it together quickly, pleasantly and completely. The dining area was clean and well-lit.

I’ve never liked Panera, so it has been years since I’ve eaten there. I love sandwiches and somehow they make an easy food taste mediocre.I decided to give it a shot once more, given their new Black Forest Ham baguette looked good.I went in the shop, ordered it. The clerk at the counter was your typical unfriendly, bored, not saying hi, not saying when he’s ready to take my payment dude. Stereotypical American service, but whatever.Got my food to go, *double checks receipt* Black Forest Ham and Gouda baguette, but once I get home and settle I open it to find it’s a different sandwich (the pepperoni one).So yeah. If you live in the Downtown Bethesda area, literally next door to the Panera is a Subway that’s better. Across the street it’s Tatte for consistently great sandwiches, and you’re a short walk away from literally anything that’s better.
Service and the food were great, the only problem was other customers that didn't respect your space, and hovering over counter where the food is

One word to describe the employees . USELESS. Plain and simple but it’s not their fault is the manager fault 100 percent . I never seen such unorganized slow staff . The manager too he slow plus laid back like he doesn’t care . I do Doordash and when we get an order from this Panera 9/10 won’t be ready and it’s not like people order a lot of food for example today I went in at 7:03 and the order was 2 chocolate croissant and 2 blue berry muffins . When they had me waiting 30 minutes for something that don’t even need to cook is already ready to be put in a box and bag it . I swear to you the African American dude did 3 laps around the restaurant picked up the box dropped it did another lap just to do it . My head hurt seeing him work like commonnnn dude you can’t be this useless. I worked at many restaurants before and I’m in shock how he still works there but then the manager don’t care .
