The waitress was very patient as we took a long time to order. She was also very efficient once we placed our order. Food was delicious and my friend and I had a vwry enjoyable lunch.

Great foood - amazing fresh fish - sea bass (rockfish) and halibut along with a terrific tuna tartare. Knowledgable wait staff but possibly a mess up in the kitchen and our entrees took a very long time to come out. The team comped us a desert which was very nice of them. Definitely a great local gem and a place we will continue to support and enjoy in the future. Everyone should try it! You'll be hooked by the service, the food and the welcoming atmosphere.

The food and service were fantastic. Great ambiance and easy to hear those at your table. The scallops, short ribs, and sea bass were all delicious. We highly recommend!

Persimmon was new to me. Good food. Good service. Easy parking right behind the restaurant. Wine list somewhat limited.

Persimmon is one of our go-to places in Bethesda. All the food is well prepared and the options are ample. When I went recently with 3 others all their dishes came out sufficiently hot. Unfortunately my duck breast came out cold. Another one, which was perfected prepared, was presented soon afterwards.

Parking is easy right behind the restaurant. There is bistro seating outside but there was noise from some street work so we sat inside. Service was excellent and quick. We ordered an lempanada appetizer which was awesome, the salmon entree over orzo and spinach, and my friend had the roasted beet salad. They kindly surprised us with a free dessert for our birthdays. Our reservation was at 2:30 but I would suggest you get earlier reservation as the kitchen closes right around 2:30 for lunch service, so we felt a bit rushed. But overall , this is a lovely restaurant , with good meal choices, delicious food, and attentive service. It a wonderful place for lunch with friends.

Outstanding food, and service. Easy parking behind the restaurant too, which is a plus. My wife and I can't wait to go back!

The food was delicious. All five members of our party loved every course. It was well worth the drive in from Reston.

We sat outside. It was a lovely evening, but it was interrupted by mosquitoes right around dusk. Seems like there could be either fans or candles that would help with this. Our server was delightful and attentive couldn't have asked for more. But the food was not hot and it seemed like it had been left over or heated up. The flavors were not present pork tenderloin is cooked properly, but it was tasteless. The sweet potatoes that came with. It tasted fine but not anything to write home about green beans or bright green but tasteless and wilted and the seafood bouillabaisse was actually horrible. The salmon tasted like the inside of the refrigerator. The shrimp was tough and dull One scallop was fine as scallops go. But overall, it was horrible I'd like to say perhaps Sunday night's not the best time to go there and perhaps sitting outside knowing that it is summer in the mosquitoes are gonna go where they will would be the issue but sitting inside wasn't an option. It was a refrigerator in there. I might give it one more try. But after not having gone to this little gem for so many years, I was very very disappointed.

Dinner with another couple. The food was very good, and we were allowed to share appetizers and desserts. Noise level was so high, it was sometimes hard to hear without leaning over the table.

Delicious food for sharing, if you wish. while traveling, we try to avoid leftovers. Cocktails sounded awesome but were a bit lacking in flavor. Had a Mojito that tasted free of alcohol. Was supposed to have cardamom but not tasted at all. Recommend tuna/avocado appetizer and main dish of scallops over mushroom risotto. An interesting mix of sauces. Would return again but have happy hour elsewhere.

Food was very good as always. However, service was disappointing. Took over 20 minutes for a waiter to initially come over to our table. Waiter seemed overwhelmed and not very interested in us. Have been a loyal customer for many years but would hesitate to go back.

Persimmon allowed us to host our son and daughter's rehearsal dinner with an amazing menu and service. Everyone completely enjoyed their meals from a wonderful selection of appetizers, entre, and desserts. Personally the filet was top shelf. Thanks to the staff for an enjoyable evening.

We have been to Persimmon many times over the years. The food and service have been consistently delicious. Honestly, every time I go there I enjoy my experience thoroughly. The owners work hard but make it seem effortless. During Covid, they pivoted to takeout. It was just the two guys and a cook, masked up, and making it happen; again, excellent food. Pre-Covid we would take our teenage son there to feast on their lamb ribs. Where else could we get generous portions for a kid that was always hungry. Last night my husband and I decided to get an early dinner there after a very long day. We realized that we have been taking Persimmon for granted. No longer. They are now our neighborhood establishment, and we plan to go more frequently. I told the owner as much. Persimmon, we appreciate you!

My boyfriend and I came had a reservation tonight for our second anniversary and had an amazing meal and excellent service.

I highly recommend the scallops and my boyfriend LOVED his rack of lamb. Also the bread is insanely addictive.

I got the vibe that of the servers didn’t hear us while taking away my plate so I double checked and there was a mix up and my leftovers were tossed. The owner heard about this, handled it and ordered me a new dish to go immediately. All of the staff were amazing and very attentive. Thank you so much for making this meal so much more special for us and for being so generous!
