Food: 2/5Presentation: 5/5Service: 4/5I hate giving scathing reviews, but this place was just not it. My really big issue was with the food itself.I’ll start off with saying I’m Mexican, from Texas, and I make my own tacos too. I’m new to the DMV but I’ve visited a lot so I knew not to expect Texas level tacos. Still, the food was a huge let down.I ordered a #1, an order of grilled chicken tacos on corn tortillas instead of flour (if you know, you know). I also asked for no cheese as that’s really a Tex-Mex thing rather than an authentic thing and I’m not a fan. I even got a nice coke to pair with my tacos.I sat outside on a nice breezy day. There is are only two benches outside where you can sit but I didn’t mind. Within 15 minutes, my food was ready. The tacos were beautiful. Nice, bright colors with some pop from the red radishes. My issues started when I first took a bite. First of all, anyone who cooks Mexican food knows that corn tortillas must be warmed up before you can use them, otherwise, they crumble. Unfortunately, my taco didn’t stay together too well. I wouldn’t have minded all so much if the taco itself also wasn’t missing a lot of flavor. The final disappointment came from the rice itself, which wasn’t the classic orange/red color you get at a real Mexican restuarant. It was a yellow Spanish rice style.I don’t think this place claims to be authentic or even Mexican, but tacos and Mexican rice do have some simple rules. All in all, the workers were super nice and the place was cute, but I wouldn’t recommend this place for anyone who has ever had an authentic taco.

The food was only ok, there is no indoor seating and they don't have traditional options for this type of place you would expect. The staff was very friendly However and they did compliment us with popcorn, which was really good, I have to add.

I just happened to drive by and since it was already 1:30 and I hadn’t eaten, I decided to test it out. The tacos were flavorful and filling, the chicken was moist and perfectly cooked, and they even unexpectedly tossed in some free caramel corn. The prices were perfectly reasonable, especially for Bethesda. I’ll be happy to come here again if I am in the neighborhood.

Great authentic Mexican, especially obvious by the fact that I was more than halfway done eating before I remembered to take a picture. We got the spicy beef tacos and the jalapeño pork. The only beef option is the spicy beef tacos. The heat on those was more than we expected so keep that in mind. The pork was spicy but just right. The size of the tacos was very generous, I would have been happy with a little less meat in there but that’s the closest thing to a complaint I can think of. Very friendly staff and quick service. To-go containers were the cardboard chip style and not styrofoam, I always appreciate that. We will definitely be back to try some of the other items on the menu!

Had no idea this was here, blending in with the nearby houses. Shrimp tacos were good. Bigger than what you'd get at other places around here, plus you get some rice. Food came out quickly, and you can basically see the whole kitchen, so it's kind of transparent if you like that.

I agree with the positive comments on the food; had two taco platters yesterday. Take out didn't travel well, although tried to be careful, so next time I will get bowls or delivery. Owner, please provide a ramp; handicapped customers have difficulty on the steps, and door is extremely difficult to open. It is very heavy; also squeaks; lubricate hinges. Both employees seemed depressed; no smiles, barely answered questions.

Best pork tacos I've ever had. Large portions.... and super quick and kind service

Stopped by here because I love tacos and sometimes when a place is off on a side street it is a hidden gem. Not this place. Got the spicy beef taco. I substituted the flour for a corn tortilla. It wasn't grilled. So the minute I grabbed the taco it started to fall apart. The spicy beef tasted like Taco Bell meat. Just not good. Was starving so ate it as a salad instead.

Unlike the review above, my taco had a generous portion of chicken, fresh crisp vegetable and I received prompt and excellent service.

Heard about this little restaurant from a friend so I decided to stop in for lunch and I’m glad I did! These tacos were awesome! Fresh veggies, good chicken and fast service. Great spot!

Great tacos I get the vegetarian ones and they are really good. My husband gets one with pork or chicken and he really likes them. Great owner owned and run small business just a few steps off of Wisconsin Avenue. They also serve hamburgers and gyros.

Great tacos and sizable portions! We've gotten the Chicken Thigh, Shrimp, and Spicy Beef tacos and all are delicious. I eat a little more than average and it usually takes me 3-4 tacos to feel full, but the two that come in a platter were friendly.Guy at the register was very friendly, and living in East Bethesda it's great to be able to walk over here in 5 minutes. If you're in the area, check this place out.
