Disgusting why are they still open just ordered DoorDash and highly disappointed!! The teriyaki bowl is bland! How do you make a product like that

Terrill Cushnie ..

Loved the spicy Mongolian beed bao bun. Didnt love the flavor of the chicken teriyaki. The cheeseburger bun was bland. The chicken ginger pot stickers were amazing!!!

This is an online ordering (ghost kitchen) operation. You pick up from a restaurant space, but it's not really connected other than the space. You can't go to the restaurant and order from a menu. I didn't order very much (for lunch), but it was a pretty straightforward process and it was ready for me when I arrived. The BBQ Berkshire pork bao was okay. Not impressed, but the Spicy Mongolian beef bao was pretty good. The Ginger Chicken dumplings were good, Green Vegetable dumplings were okay.

The bao buns just tasted off, the dough was tough and tasted old. The filling was terrible. The orange chicken was a blob of sauce with barely any chicken at all. The rice was hard and tasted old. Never ordering from here again. Waste of money

Avoid. Virtual kitchen in Kusshi Sushi. Kung pao bowl is nothing like the picture (or actual KP chicken). Even if not, if it tasted good I'd give them a pass - but dry and tasteless. Buns also have the too long in the freeze flavor. Fillings (tried 4 varieties) all poor. Go to a real bao place - save yourself from my mistake.

I have a lot to say about this place...First, many of the locations are ghost kitchens. Despite the very critical reviews of other Wow Bao locations, I noticed this one was running out of the same address as Kusshi Sushi- a great local sushi place. I took the risk to try something new, ordered online and hoped it was a ghost/dark kitchen out of this sushi restaurant. While I still don't know if there is an association between the two, I can tell you that the food was great. I've never had a Bao so I have no comparison- but we enjoyed every bite. If this is a full dinner-style meal, I'd recommend 3-4 per person Bao for a dinner. I'd have been very satisfied with two for lunch. We had the Mongolian beef, chicken teriyaki, bbq pork, whole wheat vegetable, cheeseburger and egg with bacon (we didn't eat the egg with bacon- more on this below). They all arrived soft and surprisingly heavy. Everything we tried was enjoyed but in the future I would stick with the beef, chicken and pork. The vegetable Bao was nice but it didn't have enough flavor for me. The cheeseburger Bao had a sauce that tasted similar to Big Mac sauce. They have impressive labeling- the bottom parchment paper of the Bao is labeled with the flavor. Their packaging is also sort of lined on the inside which seems to keep in the moisture for the buns- this will be important later. The ginger chicken potstickers were a little crisp on the outside and had excellent flavor on the inside (I was hesitant on ordering these) which was thoroughly enjoyed. This is where I understood the bad reviews of other locations... we left a couple Bao (including the egg one) on the counter at room temperature in case we were snacky later. Well, we got snacky... and they were hard- not rock hard like others have described but not something I would eat. I suspect those with poor reviews from airports or after long deliveries may not have been as fresh or as well packaged as what we received. We will be ordering from here again, sticking to what I think may be more classic Bao and ensuring we select priority drop off on the delivery app to ensure freshness.

Ordered on uber eats. Most of our food was completely cold after only a 15min delivery. Bao buns tasted like they were probably frozen and just reheated. The orange chicken was very disappointing, just chopped up chicken in a vegetable mush with orange sauce - cold. Only the potstickers were enjoyable.

Ordered delivery on DoorDash and received wrong item, there was no mechanism to contact Wow Bao to resolve
