My husband and I had a carving for a 90s style pizzeria's and we found one in Anthony’s. There is live music every Thursday. Tonight was a piano bar vibe that was just awesome. My husband and I sang along while eating our pizza, wings, and Caesar salads.The customer service was great and food came quickly and was tasty. We can’t wait to come back!Vegetarian options: I had the vegetarian pizza it was great. They were even able to remove toppings I didn't want.
It’s getting ridiculous how much we order from Anthony’s on DoorDash. Everything is SO good! Cream of crab & penne Rosa are our faves!

I have been a regular customer of Anthony's since it opened here in Bowie. A recent lunch was the first time that I have been disappointed. I ordered a meat calzone, which was sent back because it was cold inside. Also, the pepperoni slices inside were all lumped together, and the cheese was very limited. There was no parmesan cheese and peppers on the tables, very unusual for this place. All in all, indicative that the calzone was not made on the premises.

The food is good. It's tomato sauce is very tasty. But the food is very overpriced. This is first and foremost a pizzeria and sub shop. It also has Italian food but it's not a full service upscale restaurant. Therefore I think they are way overpriced for what they are. They did upgrade the inside and it has a nice atmosphere. However, the food isn't inconsistent. Itcan be very good or so-so, depending on the day and who is cooking.The services is okay. As I said this is not a full service restaurant, and they act like it's not a full source restaurant.I do like the atmosphere. Whether you are alone or with somebody you will feel comfortable here. But if you're looking for authentically prepared Italian food you're not going to get it here. It's okay. But it's not authentic and that's one of the reasons why I think the prices are too high. But they do try hard and for the city of Bowie this is the best you can to find for an Italian restaurant.

Great pizza and customer service at a reasonable price. The pizza's are NY style, without being in NY, if you get my drift bc you can truly only get NY style pizza IN NY! But it's a very tasty pizza. We get cheese for the non meat eaters and pepperoni for the rest and everyone is always pleased. Also, the restaurant is extremely clean which always makes my day!

This isn't true NY style pizza. I also asked for it well done and it was soggy. And the ingredients fell off when I folded my slices. It was mediocre to me. Maybe the pastas are good? Who knows but don't call yourself NY style pizza.
