I had high hopes after waiting a while to try this spot, but my visit last week was a massive disappointment. I arrived around 7:00 PM and trusted the owner/chef enough to ask for whatever was fresh. Instead, I was served goat curry and rice that had clearly been sitting around for days and was simply microwaved. Feeding customers week-old, reheated food is completely unacceptable—especially given the high prices they charge. Safe to say I won't be returning.
I've been here once, and was really impressed with the food. The staff were nice, drinks were up to snuff, though the bar had a seriously limited selection. Pricing is competitive. It was a Wednesday, and I was the only customer from 6 to 7. This could be the next truly valuable addition to our locally owned restaurants in Bowie, with some support from us locals. Always try Their location in old Bowie delivers a low visibility. Spread the word for this hidden gem
