They are always short staff, there is a line all the way to the door. Those that have been there for a while are overworked and they are putting new people to make the drinks and food that don’t know what they’re doing or taking orders that don’t know their menu options. This has been a reoccurring thing for the past month and a half and is completely unacceptable.

Bowie State is trash. I would only recommend if you want a subpar education and to be frustrated for 4 yrs

Some of the workers have horrible attitudes. There’s one worker with glasses that makes drinks from time to time and she’s very rude. The manager herself always looks discombobulated and there’s very few times I go and my order is correct. It seems like these people are always short on staff and I can’t get that upset... don’t understand why more people aren’t helping out. A majority of their workers probably need more training.

Very disappointing. Ordered a green goals smoothie without banana and a T.B.J sandwich with bacon jam on the side. I received my smoothie with bananas and when I explained to the employee about my allergy she looked annoyed and gave me a new smoothie half full. My sandwich also had bacon jam on it and I waited for over 20 mins. I actually thought this would be a great place for lunch, but really it was a waste of time and money.

This location is an exclusively student-run cafe that offers extensive breakfast, lunch and dinner menus. Saxbys' BSU is an exclusively student-run cafe and offers extensive breakfast, lunch and dinner menus. Saxbys at BSU is the first Experiential Learning Program (ELP) outside of Pennsylvania and the organization's first partnership with a historically black college or university (HBCU). Saxbys at BSU is well staffed and stocked with various menu items. Please note that Saxbys at BSU has additional seating cafe style along the windows.
