10 Best Burger Restaurants near Callaway

“Hey guys, just riffin again here. Nothing goes down the gullet better than an A&W Burger huh? Its one of those things where everyone can remember their first! I had my first A&W Chesegburger when I was a wee tyke, just eleven years old! After seeing the sights in rome and exploring the arts of antiquity in Florence, by the time I got to Naples I was beat tired of Italian food! To my wonder, there was an A&W in the area, and it was there where I noshed my first cheesburger. Talk about food tourism!

Well, the experience I had at this A&W brought me back to that day in a way I never thought it could. My burger here was pure art, and I'll always remember it. The bun was soft and chewable, but melted my mouth in a way rice paper would. The cheese? Perfect. Melted but not too much, and flavorful to a fault! The actual patty? Incredible. Full of bursting flavor and tender as can be. I swear I cried when I took a bite of this! The fries were great too, perfectly salty and crisp as necessary.

The customer service here was also second to none. Althought I can't remember the name of who helped me, all I can say is that you could pay them all the money in the world and it wouldn't be enough! She was wildly helpful and eager to provide a wonderful experience. It was one of those situations where you just know that someone is totally passionate for their jobs. This alone is incredibly uplifting in a world where hope seems to be so fleeting. All in all, I had a wonderful time here, and if I weren't just passing through Callaway, I could see my self eating here 3 times a day 7 days a week!

“Finally made it to try Mac’s. The food was excellent!!! Service was excellent! Midwest girl here…shocked I enjoyed their chicken fried steak! If I could make one suggestion it would be to make the seating more intimate. Maybe some sort of partitions to divide up the space for more privacy while eating.“

“My wife and I had the opportunity to dine in your restaurant this evening. We chose an early dinner to have time to relax and enjoy the view. I had to write and tell you what a fantastic experience we had. Hannah was our server and she was a shining example of hospitality and great service. Not over bearing but there to see what we needed or how things were food wise. She alone would be our reason for coming back. But the food was absolutely incredible. From the hush puppies, wings, crab cakes and blackened chicken, everything was cooked to perfection and tasted incredible. Not normally dessert eaters, Hannah sold us on two of your deserts! The apple cobbler and tiramisu cheesecake! Again, both were flawless. Please share this with your BOH staff as I know they are often overlooked and of course we sing our praises to Hannah! My group was about 12 people, and between all of us, we had food from every section of the menu. There wasn't a bad dish anywhere. Everyone was happy, and more importantly, everyone was full.“
