We found the service to be outstanding! The food was excellent! We were so happy with our meal and the staff! Well worth the time to go out and have a dinner by the ocean! Lavonne was our server and he excelled with a bright smile and his excellent knowledge of the menu!!

Service is super slow. Portions are tiny. Lobster mash was SOOOO salty. Nice views but that’s about it.

Part of the Hyatt Regency resort and the prices seem to match the upscale environment. The food is mediocre. The kicker to me was the local oysters at $3.50 each, we get the same ones here for $2.00. West coast oysters are priced at $3.00.
We didn’t go back during our stay at the resort. We went into Cambridge to find better food at reasonable prices.

Wish we could have eaten here every day on our trip.
The food was great. The service was awesome, and the chef even came out to greet us and ask how our food was. Inside and outside seating. This place is a must try!

Our server Milan was excellent.
The crab nachos and burrata salad, WOW!
The rockfish fish and chips were great.
Great all around

We had a wonderful dinner--in fact, it was so delicious and the staff was so lovely that we returned 2 nights in a row. The scallops were sooo yummy and we loved watching the sunset from the gorgeous patio. The highlight though was the service, especially Karan, who even though she was not our waitress, always made sure that we had everything we needed and truly went the extra mile for our table. We will be back!

We are locals and try to make this a “go to” spot every year, we REALLY want to like
this place. The venue is beautiful. However, Same story every year, bad service, they are overwhelmed and appear to have no leadership running dinner service. Lots of servers and no direction, seems chaotic. Our food was mediocre. We had the nachos, there is nothing holding the dish together, loose crab, loose veges, and the Blue Pointe salad, which was very tart and underwhelming. Those cornbread muffins have been there for YEARS, get something new. The deck is missing a few more umbrellas to shield patrons from the sun. Maybe an umbrella per table wouldn’t be a bad idea. Please try harder, this is a beautiful spot.

I had an incredible dining experience! The oysters were the freshest I’ve ever tasted and perfectly shucked. The service was impeccable, attentive yet unobtrusive, making us feel truly pampered. The atmosphere was simply magical, with live music and a gorgeous sunset over the ocean, creating an unforgettable setting. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone seeking an extraordinary culinary experience!

We had a wonderful anniversary dinner. The service was right on time, the food delicious and creative, the atmosphere and view beautiful. Recently the menu has been updated to include a lot of gluten free options. Both the scallop dish with delicate miniature mushrooms in the risotto was delicious. My husband got the rockfish fish and chips and so good. Not greasy and gluten free. They are making extra efforts than in years past I feel. Worth the visit.

First off, I loved the decor. Very cute and fitting for the area. For a drink, I got a choptank orange crush, and my husband got the berry bourbon smash. His drink was delish, my first drink did have a gnat in it, but when I let the staff know they quickly got me a new one, and it did taste pretty good. For an appetizer, we got the oyster Rockefeller and it was very good too. For my main I got the carb bucatini and woah, that was delish. Would 100% come back for that. So so good. Husband got fish en papillote and I didn’t care for it. He said it was okay but needed salt but all I could taste was the smoked paprika in it. For dessert we got the caramel beignets and they were also delish! And on top of it, the staff were so kind.

Blue Point Provision is a beautiful half mile walk from the Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay. The views from this establishment are amazing, the service was fantastic, and the food was excellent. This is definitely one of the nicer restaurants in the area.

Enjoyed the Fish Scampi while my wife Enjoyed the Drunken Shrimp. The crab appetizers were excellent. Our waiter was stretched handling inside and outside tables. Thought of hanging out for drinks and appetizers on the deck another night but the appetizers didn't appeal to us.....

I really like the atmosphere, but the service was lacking big time. I appreciate the manager comping our food, but this was a combination of failed service and food execution. A lot of sand in my crab boil. Had reservation and took a while to get sat, after that, at least 10 minutes before water hit the table and took 15 minutes after drink orders were in for them to hit the table from the bar.Apps sent late and entrees sent around 1 minute after apps. Oysters in half shell warm obviously sitting in window far past their time.Wife got the short rib, it had a great flavor. But a total miss on the seafood.Staff disjointed with no clear leadership. I only say this as an ask to improve rather than to smear this place.Owners: Give it some direction and let the view and atmosphere speak for itself. Do the basics well and most people like myself will happily sign the check at full price.
