Absolutely amazing food in a simple diner atmosphere. Worth the trip! We had oxtail stew and catfish.

The food here was absolutely amazing. You need to try the oxtail and I had the chickpea curry. Also, the cornbread is out of this world. It is a must eat place.

Delicious! Catfish, collard greens, Mac & Cheese and corn bread all wonderful!! We will definitely be back!

Nasty place. Bathroom is filthy with no hand soap. I asked the owner if there is no soap how do cooks wash their hands? He said they wash their hands in the kitchen.

Food was fantastic

The ox tail is awesome. I took the sauce home and have had it on toast, and fish. Perfect heat and SO FLAVORFUL! The catfish had the perfect crisp coating. It wasn’t thick and didn’t overpower the fish! Collard greens are a must choice! The baked beans were also wonderful. Give this place a try. All meals are individually cooked-it is not fast food.

Excellent catfish and Collard greens. Country style baked beans were bangin’! Oxtail was super tender, sauce was very spicy, they gave me a little yogurt to tame it! Family owned. I’ll be back!

New to town and wanted something different than fast food and THIS IS the place! I’m a very picky eater but the food was absolutely delicious! The only thing I was disappointed about was I called my order in too early for Mac n cheese…😜! Huge portions, piping hot, fresh, cooked-to-order food, and friendly service! We will be ordering again!

Exceeded expectations. We ordered the peri peri and it was delicious. Great variety of menu options, so we look forward to coming back and trying more. Staff was attentive and kind.

Had the best butter chicken and catfish of my LIFE at this place. We also had the hush puppies, yams, cornbread, and fried pickles as sides - all great. Food was absolutely amazing, and cooked fresh. Portions are super generous, we had enough to take home and have an entire second meal. I'm so sad we aren't local, but will definitely stop by every single time we're in the area.
