Portside Seafood Restaurant offers a lively atmosphere with friendly and attentive staff. The outdoor bar and patio provide a fun spot to enjoy top-notch seafood dishes. Many visitors have praised the excellent oyster stew and oyster supreme, describing them as fantastic. The restaurant is also known for its accommodating service, often able to seat guests quickly even without reservations, and the staff are appreciated for being funny, helpful, patient, and sassy. While the seafood dishes such as steamed shrimp, crab cakes, and cream of crab soup are highly recommended, some guests have found the food to be tasty but not quite as good as other local places. The Dirty Banana cocktail is also a must-try. The deck area offers a nice place to dine on a beautiful fall evening. The restaurant is now closed on Tuesdays. When weather permits, indoor and outdoor dining are available, with parking in a small lot out front and across the street.
