“Feels like something out of the ‘80s in the best way: letter board menu, cash only, Michael Jackson music, picture of Pope John Paul II on the wall, etc. Service can be a little spotty but the staff are always friendly. I’ve eaten here many times and everything I’ve had off the menu is great, just sometimes things can be unavailable because the place is so popular and closes early“

“We visited milk and honey at the wharf first and it was amazing. The food, the decor, the music, the vibe - everything exceeded our expectations. Then we visited this milk and honey on H street on our way back to New York because it is close to
The train station. The food is amazing, service was excellent. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars for the food is because I wish they had more toppings for my chicken sandwich and I did like my latte over at the wharf location better but the food was really good nonetheless!! Thank you guys for great service“

“Great mom and pop takeout spot with a good sized customer area and counter space for a stand up meal. Serves breakfast and soul food with most items cooked to order.
A great local option in an area of the city with limited food choices.“

“This was a fabulous find. Being the Southern inspired menu, we opted for the fried green tomato appetizer, panko breaded deviled eggs were an unexpected and unusual offering that was phenomenally delicious. We also enjoyed their cajun pasta to round out the meal. We had courteous service from staff that were friendly, responsive and informative and efficient and fun. Very reasonable priced for quality and quantity of food. Highly recommend.“
“Excellent, efficient and clean establishment. Food was ready when I walked in to pick it up at 10-15 min after I placed the order. The Tejas BBQ brisket taste was fantastic. The SriPraPhai drunken noodles with tofu was so-so. Its taste profile was more like Pad Thai than drunken noodles I have had from prior restaurants, so would not get this again. The taste wasn't bad, but not what I expected. Overall, I would still return and try this food concept chain again (similar to a food court in a mall with many restaurant options but with a small pick up window and assembly room in the back).“

“I love this place! If you grew up in DC, you know how important a good carryout is....well this is the spot for you. Good food, fast, and for a decent price. Don't let some of these reviews deter you. Check them out, you won't be disappointed. They are open Monday through Friday and close at 2pm.“
