This is one of the better Safeway stores meaning there are helpful employees, especially one guy that seems to be at the self checkout often and has a cheerful approach, and the place is clean, orderly and the lines are handled. To the manager - the young man at the self checks is very helpful.
Very standard, nothing special but nothing really wrong with it. This isn't my preferred grocer, but they have Amazon lockers and when I have to pick up packages I do shop here. Which is exactly why stores have Amazon lockers, so win for them.... Selection is moderate. Last time I got home with some carrots that were expired, but I couldn't be bothered returning them. Safeway has that old vibe feeling. Safeway has not changed the grocery experience to compete with Wegman's, Whole Foods, or Harris Teeter. It is time to modernize the place so keep customers loyal.
