Baia is an amazing restaurant. From the beautiful location on the water to the delicious food and drink, to the wonderful staff, it is a great place to gather with friends and family for a wonderful night out. Had a wonderful celebration with family and friends and can't wait to go back!

I ordered the Caesar salad and truffle fries. I asked for anchovies on the salad, and they served them cut up, which was a little unusual to me. The salad was so so. The dressing didn't have much flavor except salt. The fries were also just ok. We also ordered the zeppole for dessert. Those were pretty good. Our server, Seth, was very nice, and the restaurant was very clean and had a nice ambiance. We went for brunch, and I might go back for dinner and try something else, but I wouldn't order this again.

This is a very nice Italian restaurant with amazing food that needs to work on their service. We were there Valentine’s night for dinner. The room we were in was hot and so crowded you couldn’t move around the tables without worrying that you were going to knock someone’s glass over. We had an appetizer, two entrées, and one dessert that we shared. Even though they call themselves a wine bar, I would argue that the wine menu is quite limited. The service is where this restaurant could use improvement and fell short that night. The server corrected my partner’s pronunciation of one of the dishes. That should never happen! What does it matter, as long as you know which dish to bring out? And I don’t think that was the problem here. And then things were going pretty smoothly until there was a snafu on our bill and our waiter asked the manager to come over and help us out. We sat for over 12 minutes waiting. Finally, we got up to leave (I planned on leaving cash at the hostess stand for the CORRECT amount), When of the manager walked up finally. I told her we had waited long enough and we were leaving the amount that we believed we had owed and she could figure it out later. It put a sour taste on the evening for sure when all they needed to do was communicate and keep us updated as to where the manager was. I’d like to see this restaurant survive, but it won’t if this is how they treat their customers.

There was no parking available in their lot on a Thursday night. We had to park at a strip mall and walk.

We had a group reservation and we were seated quickly. I asked right after being seated if they could split the check, and they said that it was no problem, as long as nobody moved seats. This was a pleasant surprise and much appreciated as a customer.

I liked that they gave us carafes of water to refill ourselves, but we ran out several times and didn't get enough refills even after asking.

The waitress was extremely pleasant and lovely.

The menu is horribly written. Even after asking the waitress for clarification, I was still confused by what the ingredients and dishes were, which led me to panic order something that was nothing that I thought it was.

Here are some examples of the ingredients listed for various dishes: PEI's, 'ndjua, pistachio mortadella, guanciale, pomodoro, apple mostarda, etc. You need to Google translate and look up way too many things in order to decipher the menu.

The menu consists of the Italian title of the dish, followed by a list of ingredients. That's it. Just a list. They have no context to how they go together or clues to what the dish actually is.

Sadly, there aren't any photos of the dishes either, to give you a better idea of how these unknown ingredients went together to make the dish.

The food was nice overall. The clam pasta was good but not great. Both pizzas I had were fantastic, the risotto balls were fine, the Mariana sauce that came with it was delicious.

The "lemon, lemon, lemon" cake didn't have the lemon curd on it and I had to ask for it after it was served. It was nice, but not something I'd order again.

The best things were the burrata toast and coppa e mela pizza. The mushroom pizza was second best.

The atmosphere was nice overall, but the wait staff started sweeping the floors when there were still diners eating, which brought down.

Tldr: food was hit or miss, the menu overly pretentious and indecipherable.

Was really good food! But very mean waiter. The food was pretty pricing and I was left very confident I would come back but when I was on the road driving back home, the waiter called me. Saying word for word, “why didn’t you tip me?” The bill was pretty pricing of pretty much three digits (most of my money) and I couldn’t afford to leave a tip or I’ll be in debt. So extremely rude waiter that was assigned for the tables next to the bar. He called my personal number, please don’t contact me for anything else unless I was running late for a reservation. I know it’s strongly encouraged to leave a tip of at-least 15-20% but I didn’t have the money at the time. I paid my bill of pretty much three digits as a high schooler (not Elon Musk) so be happy I gave you the full bill. Was very unpleased and inappropriate for him to say and do that to me.

The menu is sparse. Few choices. And in a pretentious effort to look upscale, they've put the menu in Italian, which makes it frustrating. Very high priced. Food was so/so. No chicken marsala. No chicken picata. No veal. One beef dish on the menu, and even with that, the steak was small, tough and overpriced. Chicken parmagiana was decent. Tomatoes in caprese weren't fresh. Very disappointing. Hard to imagine how they can survive in this small town. This was my second visit. The first was a year ago. Didn't like it then but figured I'd give it another chance. I won't go back.

Really cute spot with great wine and views. Bring bug spray if you're sitting outside! Honestly, the food was WAY too expensive for the quality. $30 for 3 mediocre scallops is crazy!!!! Staff is super nice!

If I could give higher ratings, I would...very friendly staff, helpful, courteous...the food is great...Roma pizza is authentic flavor and taste...Tuscan salad is very well prepared and a large portion...the Strawberry settevelli cake is a different style of dark chocolate cake...and they let me watch the Nationals on TV...near the fireplace...i shall return again...

Parking: Sometimes parking is crowded which speaks to the fact that they serve great food, at a good price, and in a pleasant and clean atmosphere.

We love Baia. We've been to North Beach twice but visited Baia both times. Next time we're in town I'm sure we'll visit again.

I really enjoy a lot of the food here (some just isn't my vibe). Portions are a great size and there are a lot of great options on the menu. Just a warning, the squid ink pasta is SPICY. Like LINGERING spicy. I had some months ago and I still feel the burn when it rains. Still delicious.

My favorite restaurant in all of Calvert. Amazing food. The ricotta gnocchi is flat out incredible, but you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. If you sit at the bar, they sometimes have specials on bottles of wine and can make excellent recommendations. Hands down the best place to eat around!
